Story
Mia was around 1 years old when I rescued her from a parking lot. Mia will tolerate dogs and lives with two cats. She is in good health except for every 5 years or so she has mouth issue that flares up requiring her to have a shot of antibiotics and steroids. Mia is the sweetest most loving cat I have ever owned. Will sleep o your pillow and touch your face all night if you let her. She is an inside only cat but an escape artist.. Uses litter box, eats dry food with one spoon of wet once a day. I rescued a cattle dog who turned out to not be cat friendly. Now Mia has to be locked up and does not get the attention she craves and needs. Mia is probably 12 now but full of life. My other two cats are not adoption material so I am rehoming my best cat. If it does not work out I will take her back no problem.

Story
Meet Sir Hufflepuff, 10 yr domestic medium to long hair FIV+ gentleman. This fella has been living in the neighborhood as a community cat going from house to house over the years. His first caregiver moved away approximately 6 years ago leaving him to find his next caregiver across the street. His second caregiver a nice elderly lady passed away 2 years later leaving him to find his third caregiver a few doors down. Sir Hufflepuff is a survivor but life on the street is starting to take its toll on him. He recently was injured and stand offish from the rest of the colony. His current caregiver was able to take him to the vet where it was discovered this senior gentleman had a broken tooth that had to be removed but otherwise in great health besides being FIV+. Due to his FIV+ status it was decided to pull him from his life on the street and place him in an outdoor catico. He is comfortable but lonely. He is seeking companionship on his terms. He loves pets and being bushed again on his terms. It would be best for this senior gentleman to find an indoor home with lots of windows so he can bask in the sundials of life during the day and at night just be in the presents of his new caregiver. It will take time for him to warm up to a new caregiver but once he knows they are reliable with food and give him his space he will seek out pets. He does enjoy feline companionship as well but it would be best if it were only one other verses a new clowder as he can be territorial when establishing his boundaries. He is not microchipped, up to date on shots and neutered. September 20, 2023, 10:01 pm

Story
Jennyanydots is an incredibly shy but sweet lady. In her foster home she prefers to explore at night when the house is quiet. During the day Jenny is happiest curled up in a little cat house, under a bed, in a dresser drawer, under a blanket or anywhere she can feel safe & secure. At night she comes out and curls up on the dining room chairs and watches the activity of the other cats and her foster dad, because he is the family night owl, and occasionally plays with a toy or two. She approaches her foster dad the most, since he is up with her at night, for treats and pets. Jenny loves to be pet and brushed but she will only come up to you on occasion when things are very quiet and calm. Born 1/3/2014 Jennyanydots grew up as a street/porch cat in the Fairmount neighborhood of Fort Worth. One day a nice family noticed that Jenny was looking pretty thin and worn and decided to help her out. They took her to get spayed and her shots. Then they brought her to Meowntown to find her a loving family. Due to her life on the streets Jenny had some pretty bad teeth that had to be pulled. The vet also discovered she was missing several other teeth and had some that were broken. The vet said it was most likely from trying to break into containers trying to get food and defending herself on the street. Because of her dental problems, Jenny will require bi-annual teeth cleanings and a wet food diet to help keep her happy and healthy. She also needs help brushing and cleaning her beautiful fur coat. She is okay with other cats, dogs and older kids. If you are interested in me, please contact my rescue family at MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a meeting with my foster home!

Story
Hagrid is a very sweet and outgoing boy. He loves the cat tree, particularly the hammock space and playing chase with his foster siblings and his brother, Draco (who would love to be adopted with Hagrid). When Hagrid is sleepy, he loves to cuddle up with you. He has been around children ages 3-18 in his foster home and gotten used to the family dog. He loves when the kids use the wand toys to play with him Born 5/21/2023 Hagrid’s mom, Antoinette, was hanging around a Fort Worth apartment complex. A nice young lady started to feed Antoinette and befriend her. She was trying to find a way to get Antoinette off the streets when she realized the young cat was pregnant. Thankfully a foster home opened at Meowtown just as the young mom gave birth. This kitten has not been neutered yet, but is available as Foster2Adopt. You adopt and take the kitten home with you, and we pay for and arrange for neuter later. If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my rescue family at MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a visit with my foster home!

Story
Purrito is a long-haired, black and white tuxedo cat. Her fur is super soft and fluffy, with the biggest floof of a tail I have ever seen. Her legs look like she is wearing pantaloons and her front paws are scalloped with white around her toes. Her white whiskers stand out around her black, silky fur, almost making you wonder if you might get entangled within her whisker web! Her meow-voice is soft and sweet and she will talk to you telling you all about her day. She was named Purrito because of her fantastic purr that she will turn on around humans once she gets to know them. She enjoys sleeping under the covers, tunneling into her cave, batting around her toys and chasing moving feathers. She has been in a home with other cats and is adaptable to that, but she seems to be a perfect candidate for a home that desires to have a solo and independent cat. She enjoys being petted and will sit next to people, but isn’t normally bothering laps available in a room. Purrito is looking for an adoptive family who will provide her with a forever home she can enjoy for the rest of her life. In return she will be your loyal companion to provide you with love, entertainment and purrs!! Born 1/30/2020 Likely a stray, she was found outdoors with her 3 kittens and brought into foster care. If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my rescue family at MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a visit with my foster home!

Story
Salem is looking for a home through no fault of his own -- he and his roomies have a sad situation; their mom isn't going to be on this earth much longer and her last wish is for them to be taken care of. Salem is very much a Type A cat, a leader, among his peers. He is very loving to his humans and give hugs with his arms. All cats adopted through our shelter will be vaccinated, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before going to their new home. Kittens typically are about 11-12 weeks until ready to be adopted, and will receive an ear tip showing they are neutered. If you would like to adopt, please fill out the application through the link or the website at —www.noahspaws.org — please note that the ""I'm interested"" tab does NOT act as an application. Please only apply for a specific kitten if you are committed to adopting! Our workers are all volunteers and it takes time to process applications. We are a registered 501c3 non-profit organization, with ZERO paid workers or admins. Our adoption fees for cats range from $150-250. Our rescue covers food/litter, vet care, combo testing, vaccines, microchip and spay/neuter for all of our animals before they are adopted! Please visit our website at www.noahspaws.org for more information about our rescue and fill out the online application to apply for one of our beautiful babies!
