Story
** COURTESY POST ** ** This animal is NOT at the Rowlett Animal Shelter, so please do not inquire with them ** ** For information contact Lina Hilstad;  Linavlira@gmail.com;  425-308-0052  ** Samantha (Sam/Sammie) is a long hair domestic cat. She is approximately 14.5/15 yrs old. She’s super affectionate and wants to cuddle all the time. She likes to sleep with her human, sometimes even under the covers. And she hugs you when she does sleep under the covers. It’s super sweet. She likes to purr a lot, and when she’s super happy, she tends to drool a bit as she nozzles  her human. Samantha is shy at first, but after a short warming up period, she will love on you all day long. She is a perfect lap cat.  Samantha will do better as a single home cat with no kids. She is the queen and needs to have control over her dominion. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her shots.  Her vet is Animal Hospital of Rowlett- Dr Wawak. I need to rehome Samantha because I had a baby in October, and 2 months prior to her arrival, Samantha started peeing outside of the little box. I’ve tried everything, changed the box, got her checked out to rule out UTI and other possible causes. I implemented Feliway pherormones and nothing. She’s acting out of spite, peeing everywhere. and I can only assume it's because of the new baby. It’s a difficult decision to rehome her, but I feel she will do better in a home with no other animals or young children. April 28, 2024, 7:57 pm

** COURTESY POST ** ** This animal is NOT at the Rowlett Animal Shelter, so please do not inquire with them ** ** For information contact Amanda Quinn;  &#226&#128&#170469-430-8495 (text)&#226&#128¬  thequinnfamily09@gmail.com  ** Brindle is a domestic long hair cat about 2 years old and is a tortoiseshell in color. She is spayed and up to date on shots; uncertain if microchipped, but will check. She will be taken to the vet before adopted by her new owner to make sure everything is well. Brindle is a chatty, snuggly girl. Her favorite pastimes include: Telling stories Throwing tiny stuffed animals across the room and then chasing them Reminding you it's dinner time (she's helpful like that) Climbing to the highest spot in your house and presiding over her domain like a gargoyle Reaching for you with her paws as you walk by Snuggling in cat trees, boxes, blankets, or anything else that looks somewhat comfy Sitting on the arm of your chair Getting super offended when you're on the phone and not paying attention to her Brindle loves humans, but she doesn't like dogs and takes a while to warm up to other cats. When she first meets a new human, it's not uncommon for her to run and hide. However, she's very treat motivated and once she recognizes you as someone who will be nice to her and give her treats and pets, she's quick to get attached. April 28, 2024, 7:57 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.North Texas Cat Rescue P.O Box 1504 McKinney, TX 75070 214.454.9395 www.northtexascatrescue.com We have a bit of an unusual situation; we have a bonded trio of cats. We’re fairly certain that Peychaud is the dad to Skye and Whiskey. They were all dumped outside where a really nice lady trapped them and had them fixed. Thankfully, we were able to help and got them inside before a cold front hit. They are all sweet, but are shy at first. Skye is the smallest and most reserved/shyest of the trio. She has adjusted really well to being indoors only. She has excellent litter box manners and uses a scratching post well. These 3 babies were definitely someone’s pets at one time, but for some unknown reason, they were dumped and left to fend for themselves. They are great with other cats and are tolerant of dogs. We do not believe they will do well in a home with small children as they prefer a quiet environment. If you’re interested in meeting them, please fill out an application on NTCR’s website. Please note, we do not adopt out-of-state and as they are a bonded trio, most apartment complexes have a 2-pet maximum.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please contact NTCR AT 214.454.9395 should you have any concerns or questions. Please note: We appreciate all interest in our cats and kittens, but we are an all volunteer organization. Please be patient with regard to a call back. Should you need to surrender the cat you adopted from NTCR, please email us at surrenderNTCRcat@northtexascatrescue.com. April 28, 2024, 8:42 pm

Story
Hello! I'm Meadow, it's nice to meet you! I am a sweet, spunky, and funny gal that loves meeting new people. I am super cute and everybody loved when I'm silly and show off my fluffy tummy. I need a very cat-savvy family as I can be particular about recieving love. I would not do well with kids in the home as I don't like being handled too much. I would be okay with another cat in the home as long as they respect my space. If you think you can handle me and all my purr-sonality, come to the shelter to meet me!Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. The best way to get in touch with us is by email: info@secondchancespca.org. Due to the volume of calls, only the most urgent calls will be returned.
