Story
Simsim is a sweet 6-year-old male orange fluffy cat who is neutered, indoor-only, litter box trained, and has no known medical issues. He has a very calm, friendly, and cuddly personality. He is great with kids and enjoys being around people, relaxing nearby, cuddling, and playing with toys. Simsim has been a loved part of our family, so this is a very difficult decision. Unfortunately, we are moving and our new landlord does not allow pets, so we are looking for a safe, loving, and responsible home for him. He would do best with someone kind and patient who can give him the stable home he deserves.

Story
Hi, I’m Lucy 🐾 I’m almost 4 years old, and I’m a sweet, playful girl who loves affection and being close to my people. I still have plenty of kitten energy but also enjoy cozy naps and calm time with someone who loves me. I’m gentle, loving, and happiest when I feel safe and cared for. My human loves me very much and has had me since I was just a baby, but life has changed and she wants what’s best for me — even though it’s a hard decision. She’s looking for a home where I can get more time, attention, and stability than she’s able to give right now. If you’re looking for a loving companion who will bring warmth, comfort, and joy into your life, I might be your girl. I’m ready to give all my love to someone who can give me a forever home 🤍

Story
Genghis was rescued as a kitten from the border in Southern California. From his early days, we knew he was a shy guy. But as he got more comfortable in his new home, he stopped hiding, and started asking for pets and attention. He is well mannered and playful, and also reserved and cautious. He likes to go outside and watch birds, but will rush to the door if he hears a sudden noise. He is cautious of other pets, but will grow more comfortable around them once he knows they aren’t a threat to him. He truly has brought joy to my family and is going to be missed dearly. My hope is that you fall in love with him just as much as I have.

Story
Meet Feather... Feather is the most loving and affectionate girl. She follows her foster mom around purring and rubbing against her legs. Feather loves to be brushed and loves for you to talk to her. She is non confrontational with other cats in the house and will just walk away from another cat if it hisses at her. She lived all her entire life with a woman who rescued her as a kitten. Sadly, the woman had to go into memory care. She had no problems moving to her foster home and adjusted to the changes within 24 hours. Feather is about 4 years old, weighs 9.8#, fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative. She would love a quiet home but we also think she would be happy in a home with respectful dogs and/or children. We adopt in the DFW and East Texas areas only (within 1 hours' drive from Terrell) as we deliver our pets to their new homes. A vet reference is recommended.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.North Texas Cat Rescue P.O Box 1504 McKinney, TX 75070 214.454.9395 www.northtexascatrescue.com Part of a bonded trio! Peychaud is extremely beautiful and sweet! He is bonded to Skye & Whiskey, and they must be adopted together. These sweet babies are waiting for their forever home! They were definitely someone’s pets at one time, but for some unknown reason, they were dumped and left to fend for themselves off of a busy highway. Thankfully, we were able to help and got them inside before anything worse happened. All 3 kitties have adjusted well to being indoors only. He has excellent litter box manners and uses a scratching post well. All three kitties are great with other cats and are tolerant of dogs. The trio needs a quiet home, without small children.  If you’re interested in meeting this sweet and beautiful trio, please fill out an application on NTCR’s website.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please contact NTCR AT 214-454-9395 should you have any concerns or questions. Please note: We appreciate all interest in our cats and kittens, but we are an all volunteer organization.
