Story
Antonio is an adorable DLH black male born approximately 4/19/2024. He has the prettiest light green eyes! Meet Antonio (aka Tony) Tony is a delightful little Italian kitten with a heart full of love and a flair for poetry. This sweet and calm furball might prefer lounging in your lap and purring contentedly over playing rough with the crew, but don't let his relaxed demeanor fool you—he’s got a playful side too! He loves chasing balls, but his true joy comes from being adored by his people. With his soft, shiny, long fur and striking good looks, Tony certainly knows how to turn heads. He's always happy to pose and let you admire his beauty—and don't forget to feel how incredibly soft he is! When he's not basking in affection, Tony spends his spare time writing poetry, pondering the finer things in life, and waiting for the purr-fect person to share his warmth and creativity with. Tony is microchipped and currently in a foster home. His adoption fee is $105.November 12, 2024, 2:42 pm

Story
Our email communications often end up in applicants' spam folders. If you apply for a cat or kitten with RHS and don't hear from us, please check your spam folder.  Bodhi is one of the cuddliest kittens we've ever met and with his handsome looks, he's the total package! This fluffy little guy was found outside with his litter mates at just 2 days old with their umbilical cords still attached and no mom to be found. Thanks to a lot of round the clock love and care from his first fosters, Bodhi and his brothers were bottle fed and grew from teeny tiny boys into playful and cuddly kittens. Bodhi is super soft and his long coat is adorable with his ear tufts to match his little brother, Beaux. He's always excited for attention from people and will climb over any obstacles to install himself in your lap to start his rounds at the biscuit making factory. He loves to play and romp around but can usually be found anywhere cuddles are happening. Bodhi will be happiest in a home with another cat to be his buddy, and we'd love to place him with one of his brothers, or another adoptable kitten in our program if you don't already have a feline friend in your home.   Bodhi is still undergoing his vetting but he is eligible for our foster to adopt program! Foster-to-Adopt Program Details We are an all-volunteer, foster-based, non-profit organization We don’t have a physical location; all cats and kittens live in foster homes until they are formally adopted. Our foster-to-adopt program allows us to match cats and kittens with their forever family before they’re eligible for adoption. Eligible cats and kittens are placed in a foster’s home with the intention of adoption after required medical care is completed. Foster-to-Adopt foster parents are required to schedule and bring their cats(s) and/or kitten(s) to veterinary appointments at the Animal Medical Center of Richardson as needed.  Foster-to-adopters must meet all of the eligibility requirements RHS has for adopters.  Cats and kittens eligible for our foster-to-adopt program must pay a $50 non-refundable deposit at time of drop-off that will be deducted from the animal’s adoption fee of $135.    RHS Adoption Process and Requirements Meet the Adoption Criteria. Before you do anything else, make sure you meet our adoption criteria. You must be at least 21 years old. You must live within a 60-mile radius of Richardson, Texas. You must share veterinary records for all pets currently in your home and all pets owned in the last five years. All pets in the home must be spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccinations and on a flea/heartworm preventative. If you rent your home, you must provide verification that pets are allowed on the property. You must be willing to be interviewed by an adoption counselor and you must undergo a home visit by an RHS representative. Phone Interview. Compatible applicants will be forwarded to a counselor who will contact the applicant for a phone interview. Home Visit.  If all the steps above are completed satisfactorily, we will coordinate a virtual home visit. We’ll request you send videos/pictures of your home to verify it is safe and welcoming for the cat. Meet and Greet. Once your home visit is complete, we can coordinate a time with you and the foster parent/s to meet the kitty you’re interested in.  Complete Adoption. If all feel it is a good match, we will schedule the adoption at your home or an off-site location. The applicant will need to complete the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. Our adoption fee is $135 for cats, and payable by Paypal, Venmo, cash, or check. Discounts are available for senior-aged pets. ##2261344##

This tiny boy was found outside with his litter mates at just 2 days old with their umbilical cords still attached and no mom to be found. Thanks to a lot of round the clock love and care from his first fosters, Beaux and his brothers were bottle fed and grew from teeny tiny boys into playful and cuddly kittens. Beaux is the smallest of the three but he isn't lacking in personality or playfulness in the least. As soon as he sees human friends, he turns into a total purr machine, and it's impossible to resist petting and brushing his huge ear tufts. Story
Boots was originally adopted in 2012 as a kitten, along with his sister Gracie. He has had a wonderful life with his humans until one day mom human passed away. This was very sad for Boots but he had his Dad human.... until this year when Dad had to go to a care facility and there was no way to take Boots or Gracie. We took both Boots and Gracie and have tried to give them the love and care they deserve at our foster facility. It is not ideal as they really would prefer the constant company of humans. They can be separated. They do not appear to be bonded. Boots is confused and sad but is making progress in being more comfortable with new human friends. We understand that not everyone can manage the care of a senior when it could involve medical issues and vet bills. He has had a senior physical and is in excellent health. We are willing to sponsor their medical/vet costs. If you would like to meet Boots, please email us at info@feralfriends.org. We are looking for either a foster home or a forever home. If you would like to adopt, please submit an adoption application through our website: www.feralfriends.org

Story
Please text 214 621 1139 if you wish to get a Meet and Greet form for this pet. What is there to say about Cashmere? With such a gorgeous coat and those beguiling golden eyes, this is one stunningly beautiful kitty. Cashmere has a coat that is as soft as its namesake. Her fur coat is actually double coated. She has one of the thickest, plushiest fur coats we have seen to date. Our lovely girl is strong-willed, vocal, independent and highly active. Despite her pouffiness, we have seen this girl leaped 5 ft into the air with grace and agility. Torties are highly affectionate and when they find the right owner, they will give all their devotion to that person. Our Cashmere came into the foster care with a loving companion, the hunky Odin, a stunningly marked snowshoe Siamese male with the gentlest attitude. Cashmere often shows him who's the boss in the relationship by grooming him regularly to let him know that she's the dominant one in the duo. Good thing, Odin is one laid-back kitty who happily enjoys being lavished with attention from the beauteous Cashmere.
