Story
I got Duke from the neighborhood cat who had babies in my shed. Duke was the craziest kitten. For about a year I really thought Duke was a male cat, but after getting fixed; we soon realized this cat was indeed, not a male. It was too late to change the name, and Duke (or Dukie) identifies as a him/he. If I go back and forth on “he or she” that’s why, its weird still lol Dukie is obviously well fed, we went on so many diets and I could not lose its belly. Duke also loves to sit back with the belly out and relax. Duke was born February 2017, very calm, low maintenance loving cat. Does well with kids, okay with dogs, needs to warm up to the dog. She will be timid at first around new animals. The last round of shots was in 2023. The vet thinks there’s some mane coon but what do I know. Unfortunately I have cannot care for Dukie anymore. I am often traveling for work; starting a family, and one of the kiddos has been experiencing bad allergies with Dukie :(

Story
I found Lovie on the porch bleeding from his eyes and nose. I took him to the vet where the x- rays revealed a skull fracture. His follow up appointment revealed that he has completely healed since. He is generally easy going, energetic, and affectionate, but does not get along with my older cat. He chases her around the house, swats at her, and runs her out of her litter box which has left her anxiety ridden. And I realize now that our apartment is too small to accommodate the extra litter boxes needed to stop the territorial fights. I also took a pay cut this year so the cost of living with 2 cats is becoming a financial burden.

Story
This adorable little fluff ball, known affectionately as the “Purr Monster” by her vet, is looking for her forever home! Hadley was rescued from the side of a busy road and found her way to the Weatherford shelter before joining Saving Hope. Born in March 2023, she’s a petite, loving kitty with a heart of gold. She is a special girl and will need an equally special adopter!! Hadley is a total sweetheart! She’s very affectionate and loves to be close to her humans. This little chatterbox will definitely let you know when she’s in the mood for some love, and she can be a bit demanding (in the cutest way)! Hadley enjoys playing with her foster kitty siblings and her favorite toy – plastic springs - which keep her entertained for hours!Hadley has cerebellar ataxia, which affects her coordination and makes her movements a bit funny. She walks and runs though, and doesn’t let it slow her down one bit! She will need a safe environment with minor adjustments, as she struggles with jumping and climbing.Perhaps the biggest adjustment for her new family is her bladder and bowel needs. Hadley’s bladder doesn’t contract properly, and she requires help to empty it 3-4 times a day. We have drastically decreased accidents by taking her to the bathroom on the toilet, which she does really well with. Don’t worry – it’s simple to do, and we’ll happily teach her new family how to care for her.Hadley is looking for a loving, patient adopter who is ready to provide her with the special care she needs. She may need a bit of extra attention, but she’ll repay you with endless love and affection. She deserves a forever home where she can be cherished, no matter her challenges.Could you be Hadley’s forever family? If her sweet story speaks to you, please fill out an adoption application and help Hadley find her happily ever after. You must submit an application to be considered for adoption. Story
Meet Gigi, a beautiful polydactyl girl born in June 2024, whose journey has been anything but easy. This sweet soul was callously discarded in a metal garbage can, left to face the cold and hunger all alone. But despite her past, Gigi is a testament to resilience and love, and she truly deserves a life filled with warmth and pampering.Gigi has a heart full of affection and a playful spirit that shines through. She delights in splashing around in the shower or playing in the kitchen sink, bringing joy to everyday moments. Gigi also loves her cat wheel! At night, she longs to snuggle beside you, sharing her gentle nature and ensuring you feel her love with every purr. Gigi thrives on companionship and needs a home where she has a furry friend to share her days with. While she’s not suited for a household with very small children or large dogs, she’s ready to fill your life with comfort and companionship! Kids 10 and up are fine!
