Pip was abandoned by his mother under my shed during the hottest part of last summer. When I found him he was so thin I didn't think he'd survive. A year later and he's super sleek and healthy. He can be a little skittish but once he's comfortable with you he'll turn into a sticky burr. Since he was abandoned so young, he still likes to nuzzle and suckle my shirt. His fur is incredibly smooth and soft, almost like satin. I'd love to see Pip go to a home where his lap cat tendencies would be appreciated. He loves to sit in windowsills and watch the outside world.

Meet Fiona! Fiona is a resilient lady born in 2015.Fiona is a sweet fluffy tabby girl. She was found lying in the street, unable to walk. A Good Samaritan brought her to the shelter, and this is where Saving Hope took her in. She was shot with a bb gun and still has fragments along her spine. Due to this she requires regular arthritis/pain shots about every 10 weeks. BUT, you would never know this when meeting her. She is sweet, spunky, and so curious about life. She would love to be in a home where she can be the princess she is. She would be OK with another cat or dog in the house, with proper introduction. This handsome gentleman was sadly dumped along with 12 other cats and brought into the Mineral Wells shelter, where he ended up on the euthanasia list. This adorable little fluff ball, known affectionately as the “Purr Monster” by her vet, is looking for her forever home! Hadley was rescued from the side of a busy road and found her way to the Weatherford shelter before joining Saving Hope. Born in March 2023, she’s a petite, loving kitty with a heart of gold. She is a special girl and will need an equally special adopter!! Hadley is a total sweetheart! She’s very affectionate and loves to be close to her humans. This little chatterbox will definitely let you know when she’s in the mood for some love, and she can be a bit demanding (in the cutest way)! Hadley enjoys playing with her foster kitty siblings and her favorite toy – plastic springs - which keep her entertained for hours!Hadley has cerebellar ataxia, which affects her coordination and makes her movements a bit funny. She walks and runs though, and doesn’t let it slow her down one bit! She will need a safe environment with minor adjustments, as she struggles with jumping and climbing.Perhaps the biggest adjustment for her new family is her bladder and bowel needs. Hadley’s bladder doesn’t contract properly, and she requires help to empty it 3-4 times a day. We have drastically decreased accidents by taking her to the bathroom on the toilet, which she does really well with. Don’t worry – it’s simple to do, and we’ll happily teach her new family how to care for her.Hadley is looking for a loving, patient adopter who is ready to provide her with the special care she needs. Meet Cornucopia! Born in October 2025. Cornucopia is the epitome of a fluffy ball of snuggles. A Good Samaritan reached out because Cornucopia had an injured tail and temperatures were about to get really cold with thunderstorms. We picked her up and took her to our vet. She is very happy and healthy and is having a partial amputation of her tail. This will not slow her down in any way. She is a Velcro kitty who will follow you around everywhere you go.
