Story
I have Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) but please don`t let that stop you from giving me a loving home!! Cats that test positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) are more likely to develop a secondary illness. They do require some special care. FeLV can be transmitted to other cats, through direct contact such as through mutual grooming and by sharing litter boxes and bowls. Therefore, FeLV positive cats need to be kept indoors and should only be housed with other cats who are also FeLV positive or no other cats. FeLV cannot be transmitted to humans or other types of animals such as dogs.Since there is no treatment for FeLV, it is important to keep the cat`s immune system strong, with a healthy diet, a stress-free environment and regular vet checkups. FeLV positive cats can have a difficult time finding homes, even though in all respects they are normal, loving cats. Please don`t allow the FeLV stigma to prevent you from opening your heart and home to a wonderful kitty companion.

Story
Rascal is very loving. Wants you to pet him all the time. A wonderful lap cat. Plays a great deal. My other older female cat isn't accepting him in our home. She attacks him. Steals his food. Chases him out of potty box. Yes she is the problem but I've had her for 9 yrs so I don't think she will change. Rascal is not safe with me anymore. I love him but I can't have him. Please help us. Thank you Susan

Story
Meet Fiona! Fiona is a resilient lady born in 2015.Fiona is a sweet fluffy tabby girl. She was found lying in the street, unable to walk. A Good Samaritan brought her to the shelter, and this is where Saving Hope took her in. She was shot with a bb gun and still has fragments along her spine. Due to this she requires regular arthritis/pain shots about every 10 weeks. BUT, you would never know this when meeting her. She is sweet, spunky, and so curious about life. She would love to be in a home where she can be the princess she is. She would be OK with another cat or dog in the house, with proper introduction. She is vetted and has excellent litter box manners. Fiona really is the sweetest girl and can’t wait to meet her purrfect family! You must submit an application to be considered for adoption. We cannot reply to all inquiries, but respond to all no obligation applications. Fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/cat-adoption-application It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. Fee is $175 which includes first years vaccinations, combo testing, spay and microchip.

Story
Meet Tarot born late June 2021. She’s a beautiful longhair tuxedo. Tarot’s whiskers aren`t the only thing that’s big about her, she has a huge personality that is extremely warm and friendly! Playful and fun-loving she never strays too far always wanting to be at your side. She isn’t picky with food. She would be a great single cat or addition to any cat family, with proper introduction she’s willing to play with dogs & kitties alike. She’s absolutely adorable and fun.Tarot has a condition called stomatitis, and while she`s had some teeth removed to manage it, she is doing well! Her stomatitis is controlled and only requires regular/routine vet visits, so she is ready to enjoy life to the fullest. You must submit an application to be considered for adoption. Story
Knox and Connery are best friends who were rescued after spending months living in a grocery store parking lot, dodging cars and begging for food. They are about a year and a half old and very attached to each other. Knox has an amazing long, silky, black coat. He’s very shy with new people, but once he warms up he loves to be petted and brushed. Connery is a very friendly orange tabby who loves everyone. He’s very affectionate and loves belly rubs. These sweet boys need a quiet home and patient humans to help Knox come out of his shell. To meet them please fill out an adoption application at http://www.buddiesplacecatrescue.org F-JB Updated: 8/1/23
