Story
Meet Sinatra! Sinatra is a stunning boy born in approximately 2022. Sinatra is a bit timid at first, but he quickly gets comfortable. He loves to be cuddled and makes lots of biscuits. Every so often, he meows to find someone to pet him. If you call him he will come to you and wait patiently to be pet. He is very laid back and low energy. Happy to curl up on your bed and take a nap. He is comfortable with children, other cats, and dogs with proper introductions. He is FIV + which just means he has a compromised immune system and can't go outside. This isn't contagious and is only spread by blood contact with only other cats. Douglas is healthy and doing great. FIV+ cats can have very long and healthy lives with good care! It's nothing to be afraid of and we are happy to provide further information. He gets along great with other cats and dogs. You must submit an application to be considered for adoption. We cannot reply to all inquiries, but respond to all no obligation applications. Fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/cat-adoption-application It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. Fee is $250 which includes first years vaccinations, combo testing, spay and microchip.

Story
Knox and Connery are best friends who were rescued after spending months living in a grocery store parking lot, dodging cars and begging for food. They are about a year and a half old and very attached to each other. Knox has an amazing long, silky, black coat. He’s very shy with new people, but once he warms up he loves to be petted and brushed. Connery is a very friendly orange tabby who loves everyone. He’s very affectionate and loves belly rubs. These sweet boys need a quiet home and patient humans to help Knox come out of his shell. To meet them please fill out an adoption application at http://www.buddiesplacecatrescue.org F-JB Updated: 8/1/23

Story
Willy is a gorgeous 1 year old long haired male with a big fluffy tail. He’s very active and playful, though he also enjoys cuddle time with his foster mom. Willy gets along with other cats, but has a pretty dominant personality, so he would do best with mellow companions or as an only cat. Willy was very sick as a kitten with a disease called FIP, but after months of treatment he is a strong, healthy boy with a long life ahead of him. To meet him please fill out an adoption application at http://www.buddiesplacecatrescue.org F-JB Updated: 8/19/23

Story
Meet Greta! Greta is a beautiful Domestic Long Hair and Nebelung (sometimes called Long haired Blue Russian). She was rescued at the age of 3 weeks in August of 2018 and bottle fed by her human fur-ever mother. Unfortunately her mom passed away in Sept 2020 and rehomed. Through no fault of Greta's, she was returned a year later to a relative of her original human mom.. While the relative loves Greta very much the home is not an ideal environment for Greta. The relative has other cats and a few are very aggressive with Greta. As a result Greta is to be isolated in a room by herself. Greta is independent and laid back. She is slow to show her personality and once she is comfortable, she is loving but independent at the same time. She enjoys lounging in her cat tree watching the birds and lizards outside. She also loves playing with her string, laser pointer and of course sitting on the couch watching TV with her mom. Greta needs a home where she can be the only pet or one with a very passive cat who will allow Greta to approach them. She also will do best in a quiet and calm home with no dogs. To adopt this gorgeous girl please fill out our adoption application. http://www.buddiesplacecatrescue.org F-KP Updated: 03/07/24

Story
Mandy was rescued along with her sister and both were pregnant. The plan was to let her go back outside after she was through nursing. She became this sweet and sassy cat there was no way she was going back outside. She would do well in a home with older kids or just adults. She is a quiet cat, does not seem to be afraid of crated dogs. She would of course like any cat, need time for adjustment. But once she is settled in, you will have a beautiful and sweet cat. She is fully vetted.

Story
Some pets are in the Shelter and others in Foster homes. Please read the bio & email the address listed in the bio.   Additionally for CATS you  may email  JShelton@eulesstx.gov and for DOGS, email trinitygapclub@gmail.com       ID #23130 – Miss Kitty Miss Kitty was surrendered to the shelter on 2/24/24 because her owner was moving out of the country and could not take her with him. She is around 10 years old, spayed, current on her rabies vaccination, and is declawed on her front paws. Miss Kitty is currently in a foster home, and her foster mom had this to say: “I am on my 5th week of fostering Miss Kitty. She has had a tough life and trust doesn’t come easy to her. I have her in a room away from everything. She is calm. Loves her bed with heating pad. Loves kitty cookies. She likes to be petted but in her own way. You must be gentle. There are still areas of her body she does not like to be touched and I suspect due to abuse. She was a mess when we got her. We had her shaved and cleaned and that has helped quite a bit. She is 10 years old and quite frankly a cranky old lady. She still has a lot to give as far as love and companionship but ONLY with the right person. She doesn’t like change so wherever she ends up it will take her a few days to adjust. I don't recommend any home with children or other pets. I know that narrows the field for her, but she requires a special home. Her human has to be out there somewhere.” If you are interested in Miss Kitty, please contact Patty at 817-915-1450 (call/text) or email her at noblecascade@yahoo.com. Cat adoption fee is $5.00 plus spay/neuter/vaccination fees. ALL ADOPTED ANIMALS MUST BE SPAYED OR NEUTERED AND RABIES VACCINATED WITHIN A SPECIFIED TIME OR CITATIONS WILL BE ISSUED TO THE ADOPTER.April 23, 2024, 7:54 pm

Story
Meet Mimi, a declawed Maine Coon mix, born in 2018. She came to Saving Hope when her elderly owner could no longer care for her. The chaos of leaving the only home she had ever known triggered a past issue with stress-induced bladder stones that caused a blockage. She had surgery to remove them, and now this beautiful girl is ready for her forever home.Mimi is a super sweet, smart, playful girl with gorgeous looks to match her stellar personality. She loves being brushed, which is needed to maintain her luscious long coat and prevent hairballs. Mimi enjoys chasing toys and is a catnip lover. She is initially cautious in new places but warms up within a couple days. Mimi is a quiet girl with a very tiny meow. She is very serious about being petted and will gently paw your arm and meow if you stop! Mimi has never lived with another animal before and is sensitive to loud noises, so she would do best as an only pet with older children. She eats prescription urinary food to keep her healthy. Although Mimi needs daily brushing and special food, she is easy to please and just wants a couch to lounge on and a person to love that loves her too. She is vetted and has excellent litterbox manners. She would like to be an only pet.Saving Hope supports all kitties keeping their claws. Mimi was surrendered to us declawed. You must submit an application to be considered for adoption. We cannot reply to all inquiries, but respond to all no obligation applications.
