Hi, I'm Onyx. I've felt the sting of goodbyes more times than I can count. But I've never let that harden my heart. Instead, I've become a connoisseur of cuddles, a savant of sweetness, and a loyal friend to anyone who'll let me. I've learned that love isn't about how long you've known someone, but about the warmth you share in each moment. And I've got a lot of warmth to give. A little wine, anyone? Meet Chardonnay, a gorgeous, white and orange tabby mama with the longest tail we have seen, and her three beautiful kittens - Grigio, Claret and Barolo. Rescued by a Good Samaritan, they were taken in from outside, but the Good Samaritan could not keep them. She graciously took care of them for a couple of weeks and then they transferred into care. They all have very distinct personalities and are very sweet.Chardonnay- a young mama cat, she has raised her kittens, and now she’s ready for her own forever home. She is very inquisitive, affectionate and chatty! She is a very personable cat and likes to be around people. She would do well in a mid to high activity home and does well with other cats and kittens.Grigio has a lot to say. He is a very chatty boy with some strong opinions! He likes people and wants to be in the middle of whatever is going on. He is playful and gets along with other cats. He would need to be adopted with a sibling or have another playful cat in the home. Would most likely do well with kids and a mid to high activity home.Barolo is our fluffy boy and the shyest of the bunch. He has come out of his shell more in foster care, but he still takes the longest to warm up. He likes attention, loves to be petted but also needs his safe spaces for his alone time. He needs lots of love and attention because he is so beautiful. he definitely needs a quieter home.Claret is the only girl in the bunch and holds her own with all these brothers. She is a calico and has the personality to match, which is to say she is independent, curious, playful, and loving, on her terms, of course. She has warmed up a lot in foster care and is very comfortable with other cats and kittens. She would need to be adopted with a sibling or have a cat friend at home. She would be okay in a medium to high activity home.This family is/will be  spayed/neutered, receive their FVRCP and rabies vaccines, tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia, and all have a microchip with a lifetime registration. Meet Pumpkin Pie! This guy is a petite, sprite little man who has a big personality. He is estimated to be 6 years old. He came to us when he showed up daily at a kind elderly gentleman's home to eat and his family contacted us,Pumpkin Pie is friendly and loving and enjoys being loved on. He is playful and comical, too. He would make a great companion cat. His perfect home would be a home with either no children or older children over the age of 10 years old. He uis ready to go home with an approved application.Pumpkin Pie is neutered, has had his VRCP and rabies vaccines, tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. I am working on trusting my foster family but I'm very fearful. While my siblings have started accepting human touch, I will run if you get anywhere near me. I'm trying my hardest to like them but I am very unsure. When it's just me and my siblings, I love to chase them around and steal their toys. I also love my foster family's cats. I will approach a cat even if a human is nearby because I'm so happy to see them. I'm looking for a home with a feline friend or two for me to play with. While I live with dogs, I do not like them. They are very big and scary. I have made some progress in the month I've been here but I need a family who understands that I'm still very distrustful of humans. I would not do well with small children. While I'm not cuddly now, if you're willing to work with me, I might be your very best friend one day.

It took a long time for me to trust our foster family. I was more distrustful of humans than Banana or Jalapeno were. Our foster family would give us food and then try to pet us. I did not like this at all. I did become more comfortable as time went on and discovered that I do enjoy being pet. However, I don't like being approached and will run away. I love chasing my foster family's cat around. He's much faster than me but I'll get him one day. My foster family has dogs and they're okay but I could do without them. While I'm more social than I was, I need a family who understands that I'm still distrustful of humans. I would not do well with small children. While I'm not cuddly now, if you're willing to work with me, I might be your very best friend one day.

Meadow was adopted so that she wouldn’t be put in a shelter. We didn’t know that I had severe Allergies to her hair and I tried to take medication but I just can’t handle the allergies. She is a loving cat - she purrs constantly and wants to lay next to you at all times. She loves to be petted and cuddled. She is part Maine Coon but the vet says that since she turns 2 years old in May she has likely finished growing. She is a ‘normal’ size cat. Meadow is very well behaved - doesn’t scratch furniture ever. She is alone in the house for an about 8 hours a day and hasn’t ever made a mess. She is fully litter box trained. We would like for Meadow to find a home where she is cuddled and loved.
