Story
Meet Violet – 3-Month-Old Kitten Looking for a Loving Home 🏡 Hi everyone! I’m looking to rehome my sweet kitten, Violet. She’s 3 months old, healthy, and up-to-date on her vaccinations. Violet is playful, litter-trained, and super affectionate. Unfortunately, I’ve been having some unexpected issues with my landlord regarding keeping pets in my apartment. As much as I love Violet, I’m unable to keep her because of these restrictions. I want to make sure she goes to a safe, caring home where she’ll be loved and comfortable. I also work on an ambulance and my schedule makes it hard to give her the time and attention she deserves. I just want her to go to a safe, loving home where she’ll be happy and cared for.

Story
Thank you for your interest in adopting Binx. Binks lives in a Montevallo Foster home and we would be happy to speak with you or set up a meet and greet soon. Binx is estimated to be 14-16 weeks. He weighs about 3 1/2 pounds, if that. He was found stray as a very young kitten. He had a high fever of 105 that resulted in his coat color change. It’s called fever coat! The fever affects the pigment in the coat or the melanin in the skin. His vet said that he should regrow his solid black color or he may stay the same with the gray fluffy undercoat. We don’t want to keep him in Rescue long enough to find out. He should be bonding with his family. Binx is amazing with other cats. He’s playful, active, agile, and funny! He’s got good manners and listens. He is litter box trained, and he will sit on the side of the litter box supervising the scooping. We hope that Binx finds a home where he can nap with his people. He head-butts, rubs against you, seeks you out while purring and wanting to give and receive love. Binx is healthy, neutered, rabies, FVRCP and boosters, dewormed, receives parasite prevention, and is a little sweetheart. He is free, fed, good quality, dry food, and he eats canned food every day, with a preference for gravy. Adoption fee $200 and worth the investment! Binx would pair well with O’Malley or one of our other kittens. He would pair well with Rocco, our young adult cat. They’ve all fostered together, played together, slept together, eaten together, and groomed one another. He has not been exposed to dogs. Vet reference required. If you put your veterinarian on the application, please call their office and ask them to release information on your account so that we can process your adoption quickly. Serious Adopters should fill out the application online. Copy and paste link into your browser. https://form.jotform.com/212574701956157

Story
A stunning young calico who recently finished raising her three kittens, Maisie was a devoted, protective mama, & now she’s ready to find a forever family of her own! Maisie lived her whole life outdoors. At first, she was cautious, but over time she’s blossomed into a gentle, affectionate cat who’s learning just how wonderful it feels to trust people. Her curious & talkative personality shines more each day! Maisie loves being near her humans & has a sweet habit of pulling your hand toward her with her paws when she wants more pets. Occasionally, she may give a playful nip, though never out of aggression. She’s still learning the finer points of human affection. She’s already made great progress & continues improving daily. Maisie purrs while eating, playing, & sometimes even while she sleeps. She enjoys birdwatching from the window, chasing toys, & simply being with her people. Maisie gets along well with both children & other cats, though she prefers not to share space with dominant male cats. She’d do best as an only cat or with gentle female companions. She's faced more than her share of challenges, including losing some of her kittens before rescue, but she’s shown resilience and gratitude & now she’s ready for her happily-ever-after with a family who will love her as deeply as she’ll love them.Available for adoption from Kitty Kat Haven and RescueHoover, AL 35226205-302-8883

Story
Aptly named, regal Duke is a handsome house panther. Although still shy with humans, he has made a tremendous amount of progress in foster care. Introductions work best when he is allowed to initiate contact in an open space. He can warm up quickly and show you just how sweet and affectionate he can be. Duke enjoys being petted and receiving back scratches. He also loves to be brushed! Duke dislikes being picked up, but enjoys being loved on while his human is sitting on the couch, and will even lay across your lap. He gives forceful cheek rubs and head bumps to show his affection. His favorite activity, however, is chasing treats tossed or hidden around the house. He even recognizes the word, "Treats!" Duke is very vocal, and very good at communicating his desires. Duke likes to be around, wrestle and play with other cats. He would make a great kitty brother. Will Duke choose you as his favorite person ever?Available for adoption from Kitty Kat Haven and RescueHoover, AL 35226205-302-8883
