Story
I found this friendly cat outside my apartments, usually hanging out with the local kids. Until one night, where I found him covered in a sticky gum like substance attached to the right side arm his fur. I took him to the Humane Society to help him take it off, on top of getting his shots, flea treatment and spay & neuter treatment. I've been caring for him a while and I just need to find him a proper home that will care for him.

Gypsy Rose is an absolute sweetheart. She will sit on your lap all day or follow around the house all day as you work. She is very soft spoken but loves to be held. She can be a little shy around new people but once she trust you, she is the closest of companions.June 11, 2024, 10:19 pm

Story
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Introducing our Lion King litter. They are a fearsome foursome who are ready to roar their way into your heart. They are 12 weeks old and enjoy spending their days doing all things kitten centric, like lounging in the cat tree by the window, wrestle mania sessions with each other, tunnel running, feather chasing and mouse hunting. They are currently living with a couple of adult cats in their foster home and could easily join a home with another cat or even a cat savvy dog. They are also an option for a home with children. If you are interested in adopting a bonded pair, any combination would be fine as they all love each other. And even though each of them are ridiculously cute and sweet, here are some unique characteristics about them individually. Simba - He is the king of the litter. Confident, handsome, and vocal. He is always smiling and talking. He is very attentive to his siblings and looks out for everyone. He is also super sweet. He wants to be in the midst of all the happenings in the house and is not afraid to venture into new spaces. He is an all-around great kitty. Banzai - This gorgeous tuxedo baby has a supper soft and fluffy coat and is the largest of the group. He is a very regal guy for such a little baby. We think he is going to be a big cat when full grown. He is very sweet, playful and curious. He immediately captures your heart with his charming personality. Zazu - He is just precious. Very affectionate and loves to be held and kissed. His foster home says he is a true lap cat. He is also very self-assured and bold. He gets along great with everyone (human and furry alike) and has boundless energy. He also is a super purr machine! Nala - She is our token girl and the smallest of the litter. She loves her big brothers but is also obsessed with getting her way. Though she is tiny, she is fierce. She will size up new situations before approaching or partaking but she is also eager to be in the crowd and loves playtime. She loves her humans and would be a great companion for an existing kitty in the home. She is such a cutie pie. They have been neutered/spayed tested negative for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treatment applied and microchipped. Their adoption fee is $200 each or $350 for a pair.June 13, 2024, 10:59 am

Story
Dart is a very friendly 4 year old indoor cat. He loves meeting new people and isn’t afraid of kids or dogs. He’s always in the same room and laying next to you, but isn’t super snuggly. He’s very curious, loves to play, and is never aggressive toward people. He lives with another cat now and they are usually ok with each other but have occasional fights, so I don’t think he’d do great with other cats. Dart had FIP when he was a kitten, but was treated and is fine now. He’s had regular checkups with his vet. He’s the best cat, but due to health reasons, I have to find him a new home.
