Story
Hello, I'm Royalty and if you need a sunbeam detector, I could be your girl.  I just adore sitting in sunny windows or warm laps, especially if I'm getting scratched or pet at the same time.  I really enjoy hanging out in a catio too.  Since I like outside, I might be a good candidate for leash training so we can adventure together.  I have medium length hair and enjoy being brushed. I am a mellow girl and don't like a lot of noise or craziness around me and I've been picked on by other cats.  I would probably thrive as an only pet or maybe with a mellow dog.   Do you have sunbeams that need catching?  Please click on my link for more information and let the nice Demi's humans know when we can have a playdate. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website - https://demisanimalrescue.com/demis-adoption-application/  All cats are spayed/neutered, mircochipped, FeLV tested and up to date on vaccinations (combo shot, rabies - if age appropriate) ##2061382##

Story
Dolce is a sweet 11 year old domestic shorthair. I've had Dolce for years and she has always been a friendly, sweet girl who loves to curl up on your lap and cuddle. We recently had a baby, and we haven't been able to give her as much attention, which has resulted in behavioral problems (accidents in the house) that she has never done before. I want Dolce to be in a home that has the time and energy to give her the love she deserves. She's a very sweet cat and would do well in a house without infants or that has older children. She has never shown aggression towards anyone.

Story
Meet Mocha, a SUPER sweet and playful 2-year-old cat looking for her furrever home. She was rescued with another cat to a home that already has a resident cat, and she's feeling a bit overwhelmed and intimidated by them. Once we moved her into a smaller space, where she is mainly by herself with her humans, she has relaxed and blossomed! We want her to be happy and relaxed always. Mocha is super cuddly once she gets comfortable but may be timid at first! She loves crinkly toys, treats, neck and back scratches, napping on heated blankets, and window perches!   Mocha will undoubtedly thrive in a smaller environment as the only cat so she can focus on her owner(s) comfortably!   If you can offer Mocha a loving and currently pet-free home, please reach out! foster: CS  Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes.  These 'guardian kittens' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes.  These 'guardian cats' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for kittens (6 months & under)    $125 for cats (older than 6 months)    $75 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application  here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email cats@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time. PLEASE NOTE:  The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter.  Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets.  Here is some interesting info on breed identification:  https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member! Story
We adopted Darla as a kitten. She is 7.5 years old. She is an indoor cat and never goes outside. She is the sweetest cat and loves cuddling with people once she knows them. She especially likes to sleep close to people at night. It takes her a few days to warm up to a new person and she will hide away until she is ready. We have a dog who does not go upstairs and Darla chooses to stay away from him and stays upstairs (mostly in my bedroom). she does not fight with dogs, just stays away from them. Darla has never been a cat who gets on counters or tables, she likes her cat tower and laying on my bed or chair to sleep. She has always gotten lots of attention. We have made a very difficult decision of exploring rehoming her due to me being pregnant and some significant health/allergies in our household now. I want to find her a home where she has humans to love on her and where she has more indoor space to go.
