Story
Please contact Kristin (cats@arrcolorado.org) for more information about this pet.  This sweet girl was found up a tree in a Denver neighborhood. She has a very sweet and calm demeanor, and loves pets, treats and to tell stories! Would do best in a home with older kids (12+) and as the only pet in the home. She feels safest in a quiet and calm environment. Tallah is located at: 7150 Leetsdale Dr #402, Denver, CO 80224 Contact the store to set up a visitation. See more of Tallah on IG @justcatsstore Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $250 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes.  These 'guardian kittens' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $150 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes.  These 'guardian cats' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $150 for kittens (6 months & under)    $75 for cats (older than 6 months)    $35 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email cats@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time. PLEASE NOTE:  The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter.  Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets.  Here is some interesting info on breed identification:  https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member! Story
Artesia is a sweet, affectionate and playful girl. She’s inquisitive and curious. She loves to be held and thinks that riding around on her foster mom’s shoulders is so much fun! This curious girl likes to investigate, climb and jump over everything, and play - a lot. She has a lovely purr motor, and she is a master biscuit maker. Artesia could share her home and person/peeps with a mellow, cat-friendly dog(s) after slow, thoughtful introductions, but no other cats for this “Queen Bee.” Although she did a great job of raising her kittens (with whom she was surrendered to a shelter when her former owner was moving), Artesia is not a fan of other cats. Although this Love Bug is about 2.5 years old, she is a very active cat and her foster mom describes her as very 'kitten-like.' If you think Artesia might be the loving, present companion you are looking for, please submit an application for her today. Artesia is thriving in a foster home in Lakewood and would love to meet you. Foster: IM Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. Story
Piper is a 2 1/2 year old female cat. We adopted her and her sister, Olive when they were 8 weeks old. They have always been inside. Piper will go onto the front porch, but she wants right back in. She loves to roam the house, seat in the window and watches the birds. She loves to snuggle with you in bed. She's very sweet.
