Story
Look how pawsome Sirello is doing! He has gained weight & is doing very well in his foster home. With a slow intro, he can peacefully coexist with another kitty. He CANNOT be in a home with a dog. We believe that he left his adopter’s home because the roommate had a dog. You may remember that Sirello was missing for many weeks & we had EPIC Animal Recovery come out multiple times to help us search. He originally lived with another kitty & found himself in a shelter when his Mama died & his Dad went into a facility. Sirello grew up in a quiet home with his 2 elderly parents. He’s not a fan of loud noises. He is believed to be 8-9 years old. He is definitely a love bug who wants to love all over you. He needs a lap to cuddle in. Do you work from home? He would love that & be right there with you. He is the best boy & a volunteer fav.

Story
When I first came across Ray Ray, I thought he was stuck in the tree. Turns out that he was living up there. He had been abandoned by his owner and had moved up into the tree to stay safe from 2 big dogs that lived below. He was filthy, flea infested, mangy, and emaciated. He has recovered quite nicely. He is not a cuddly cat. He likes some scratches but will become overstimulated after a few minutes. He is not good with other cats, and I would not place him in a home with young children. With that being said, he is actually very social and has a very cool personality. He loves to hang out with people, and he really likes my dog. He is always trying to get her to play. The time has come for this awesome beast to find his Furever home. He is healthy and up to date on all of his shots and flea meds. A patient and understanding owner with a gentle doggie playmate would be ideal for him. Please consider Ray Ray. He is a worthy soul.

Story
Next is Shan, Shan loves to lounge and take it all in with his chill outlook and adorable white smudges on his nose, chest and toes. He loves to lounge and stretch out after his meals like the most handsome gentleman that he is. He loves a good head scratch, especially around his giant ears! He’s the mellow guy of the litter.A curious bunch of siblings that have blossomed out of their shell in just a week while also perfecting their meerkat impression when they stand on their hind legs. Loud noises and quick movements still spook them but they have made huge progress in a few short days and tolerate the resident 6- and 8-year-old human kids toting them around. Their favorite hobby is bird watching out the window from their cat tree and chasing stray Lego pieces. When they aren’t birdwatching, a cardboard box offers endless fun!!Get $50 off a pair of kittens. Story
Stoats is a stunning all black male kitten.  He is super playful, cuddly and purry once you give him some time to adjust to a new place.  He may need days to a week to warm up, but the reward is great. He is such a sweet guy and a funny little goofball. He bonds tightly to the person he trusts.  Please note - he can get spooked easily, but gets over it quickly. He just needs to find his groove in life.  He is not terribly confident but will do really great in a quiet environment. He loves attention and needs an understanding Mom or Dad to let him know it is all OK.  He will reward you with so much love!Get $50 off a pair of kittens. Story
Eomma is a sweet little mama. She has come a long way in getting over her shyness. She doesn’t like to be picked up but she absolutely loves chin scratches and being pet. She’s made a lot of progress in getting used to other cats in the house so I think she’d do well in a house with a kind kitty companion given very slow introductions. She gets nervous with loud noises and sudden movements so small children and dogs probably would not be a good match.  She also could be a flight risk at first so it will be important to be very cautious around open doors and open windows, even with screens.  It took her awhile to adjust to living indoors after being a stray but she adjusted nicely once she settled into her foster home.  Meet Eomma at our weekly adoption events on Wednesday, 6-8pm or Saturday, 12-4pm at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd.  All cats and kittens have been spayed/neutered, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, given dewormer and flea preventative.      All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption.
