Meet Squash! A soft heart and a naturally shy spirit. He may not be the first to run up and ask for attention, but once he feels safe, he shows a sweetness that is truly special. He watches the world with wide, thoughtful eyes, taking everything in quietly before deciding it’s okay to come closer. When Squash trusts you, he blossoms. His purr is soft but full of feeling, and he leans into pets as if trying to memorize every moment of kindness. He loves playing in a calm, cozy environment—batting at toys, exploring safe spaces, and following his braver feline friends for reassurance.

Meet Green Bean! A lively and lovable 4-month-old tuxedo kitten bursting with personality! Green Bean is playful, curious, and always ready for an adventure. She loves chasing toys, climbing cat trees, and investigating anything that crinkles or jingles. Green Bean is also a total sweetheart. She enjoys cuddles once she’s tired out and will happily curl up in your lap for a nap. Her bright eyes, bold whiskers, and classic tuxedo markings make her as charming to look at as she is to be around.

Essie is a cuddler. She likes to curl up, purr & sleep on your lap. She loves petting & playing & will follow you around or come when you call. She was a little wary of my 16-year-old cat at first but within a week they have been nose to nose & have been sleeping less than a foot apart. If you want a calm, sweet, playful, non-aggressive cat, Essie fills the bill.Meet Essie at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, on Saturday, 12-4pm, during our weekly adoption event.  Apply to adopt to be the first to schedule a meet and greet.  Get $50 off the combined adoption fee when adopting a pair of kittens.  All cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on their vaccines, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, given a few rounds of dewormer and started on monthly flea preventative.   All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Yoshi and Yaris are two incredibly sweet and beautiful little guys are ready to make your holidays fun, special and entertaining. Yoshi is a soft fluffy purring ball of fur and love and Yaris is a sleek and sassy house panther.  They would love to be adopted together if possible.  Yoshi is such a handsome guy but he is still a very shy and will need a patient person who will give him time to adjust.  He is so heartbreakingly sweet and purrs almost instantly when you pet him.  He plays so sweetly and never uses his claws.  He even will let you rub his tummy.  As his foster, I have spent a lot of time with him, and he is learning to trust and making progress each day.  He came from a large feral colony, so it has been a little rough getting him to accept that peeople are not so scary afterall.  He is a sweetheart, and with time he will become just the best, most loving and sweetest companion.  He is not ready for a crazy household and would do best in a quiet environment with slow movements.  Young children or active dogs would not be a mtach.  Yoshi is still very much a work in progress and if you set him down, he is going to hide and then you will be unable to interact without digging him out from a hiding place so it will be necessary to start him in a small space without hiding places until he gets to know you.  A bathroom or XL dog crate are both good options.  Meet Yoshi by applying to adopt and a meet and greet can be scheduled.  He and his new good friend, Yaris, are in a foster home for the holiday. Get $50 off the combined adoption fee when adopting a pair of kittens.
