Story
Tango is sweet and enjoys playing with a feather on a stick and a laser light. As you can see he is beautiful and would be a great gift under the Christmas tree as long as the plan is forever...15-20 years. He has been introduced to his foster’s resident dog and seems curious.  Salsa and Tango will be ready for adoption on Wednesday, 12/24 am (10am-12pm adoption window at our office in Candler with pre-approved adoption application).  Apply to adopt to schedule a meet and greet after Christmas if they haven't been adopted by then.Get $50 off the combined adoption fee when adopting a pair of kittens. All cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on their vaccines, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, given a few rounds of dewormer and started on monthly flea preventative.   All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label. Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC. December 22, 2025, 12:31 am

Story
Sneezy is a boy who is into everything!  The word NO - doesn't apply to him.  His curiosity is off the charts, which can lead to trouble if his environment isn't safe.  He loves to supervise litter box scooping, and any other activity that his foster mom is doing.  Cabinets...fun to open.  He often jumps on my back as I am doing chores; he wants to be close.  He also loves to carry things around in his mouth.Happy, Sleepy, Doc, Dopey and Sneezy will be ready to go home before Christmas.  Happy and Sleepy will be ready Tuesday, 12/23, the rest Wednesday, 12/24 am.  Apply to adopt to schedule a meet and greet another time.     Get $50 off the combined adoption fee when adopting a pair of kittens. Story
Doc loves to use his paws.  He plays with my hair; gently, never wild or spastic.  As you can see by his placement on the pedestal, he is an observer of all that's going on in his world.  Doc loves to have his belly 'gooched', but he doesn't play rough with my hand when he lures me into playing.  Happy, Sleepy, Doc, Dopey and Sneezy will be ready to go home before Christmas.  Happy and Sleepy will be ready Tuesday, 12/23, the rest Wednesday, 12/24 (10am-12pm adoption window at our office in Candler with a pre-approved application).  Apply to adopt to schedule a meet and greet another time after Christmas.   Get $50 off the combined adoption fee when adopting a pair of kittens. Story
My cat had kittens this past June, and I need help finding a good home for them within the next week. There are five kittens in total; three females (gray and orange) and two males (orange). I unfortunately cannot keep them due to living in an apartment. They are getting their shots this week and will be good to go. I will also be giving a new bag of kitten food per kitten! All of them are litter box trained. They are great with my other cats, dogs, and children as well. If you or know anyone that would be interested, please text 864 626 2403 . Thank you, and have a good day!
