Velvet is the absolute sweetest girl. She's very easy going and mostly sticks to herself. She prefers to live outside, but loves the option of coming in for AM and PM meals, and sometimes some snuggles when it's cold or rainy. She's an accomplished hunter and will really thrive in a place where she can be active outdoors and where hunting mice, moles, voles, and other small critters is OK. Velvet is about 7-8 years old. We adopted her almost 7 years ago and she was thought to be just under a year at that time. She's been in a house with kids and dogs (but again, prefers to be outside and will come up for rubs and snuggles when she wants to) and is very relaxed. She doesn't LOVE other cats in her space but she adjusts after letting them know that her space is her space. We adore her and are sad to have to rehome her, but our county law restricts free-roaming cats and our neighbor doesn't want Velvet in her yard. My daughter is allergic - we can't have an indoor cat.

Melody will be 1 yr old in June. He's a very silly and very relaxed guy. He's been an indoor occasionally/outdoor cat and LOVES to be outside. When he's "stuck" inside he's noticeably upset. He's been learning from our other cat (8 yr old female, also needs to be rehomed) how to hunt and he LOVES to hunt. Very playful. We love Melody Moon but our neighbor is upset that we have hunting cats and our county law says that cats must remain on our property - which is impossible to do without keeping them indoors (and my daughter is allergic, so we simply can not have indoor cats) and Melody would be happiest if he is able to be outside. He's been around kids, dogs, and other cats. He just loves everything and everyone. Like I said, he's just a relaxed dude (but also very playful - loves his toys and outdoor hunting).
