Story
Ransom is a sweet-as-pie 2 year old male neutered cat. He is very shy when meeting new people, but warms up quickly once he's comfortable in his environment. Once he adjusts, he's super affectionate and and seeks out attention and his person or people. He's a lap kitty and loves to sit on laps and snuggles behind knees when sleeping with his humans in bed. He likes to play with feather toys, loves smooches on his nose and face and loves to cuddle. He's not so much a lap cat as a *next to your lap* cat. He loves to cuddle behind your knees while sleeping or between his adoring fans on the couch for TV time. Ransom also loves getting his luscious locks brushed. He has special needs as he will be maintained on medication life-long for feline asthma and anxiety as well as a special diet for urinary health. He's been very cooperative and easy to give medications to. He will be provided with a year's supply of medication which is not expensive at all. He will also come with a at least three months of his special food. He's not a big fan of other cats and would prefer to be an only child in his new home. A quieter home is the best situation for him. He wants to be your prince and he's looking for his kingdom! He hasn't been around dogs, but if the dog is respectful, gentle, and leaves him alone, he would probably be ok. Most cats are like this, so with proper introduction and time, he could most likely handle a canine sibling.Ransom is in our Foster-to-Adopt Program because we believe if someone will take a chance on this boy, they will fall in love with him. He's purr-fectly imperfect, as we all are, and he deserves a chance to have a home of his own. We know that there is someone out there reading this and thinking: I can do this. I can give this kitty a home and a second chance! We hope it's you!For more information or to apply to adopt, please go to: https://www.purrpartners.org/adopt/

Story
Moonshadow is a gentle girl. She enjoys playing with her foster friends and climbing in the cat tree. Hiding in cardboard boxes are a fun way to scare the other kitties. 🐾She is not a big player, but takes her time getting comfortable in any situation. She likes to watch what all the cats are doing before she joins in the play. She will come to her foster mom for some pets and maybe a little cat nap. She is a sweet girl and should do good in most any calm home.😻For more information or to apply to adopt, please go to: https://www.purrpartners.org/adopt/

Story
My name is Felix, and my foster mom says I am very handsome, smart, and something called a "pistol". I love playing with my toys, balls with bells, feather toys, and interactive toys are my favorites.  Oh and tunnels, we can't forget tunnels. Now that the leaves are falling, I sit in my chair by the window and watch them, along with birds and squirrels. I really love my doggy foster sibling and would love a puppy dog of my own, but having a young to middle-aged cat brother or sister is good too. I sometimes have too much energy for an older adult cat and can make myself a pest. I really like kids and will do well with all ages but younger kids should have some experience being around kitties. I can be mischievous, and I like to explore and be adventurous, but I will always come back to you for love and attention. To sum up myself, I am a dog in a cats body.   I have tested negative for FeLV/FIV.   I have been neutered and am up to date with my rabies and other vaccinations. ##2377421##

Story
Kamara is waiting for a knight in shining armor to rescue her and take her away from her foster home which, in her mind, is terrible because she sometimes sees other cats down the hall! In Kamara’s perfect world, she would live eternally as the last of her kind, and she would never have to encounter another cat. And no dogs either, for that matter. But with quiet humans she is sweet and affectionate, and she just loves to be petted.Open spaces make Kamara feel nervous and unprotected. She doesn’t hide so much, as she just wants to be in a smaller space where she feels safe, like a small room, a box, or lounging on a bunk bed or canopy bed. She really loves hanging out in cardboard scratch houses, and bonus if she can watch birds out the window from inside it. But she will come out for pets and attention when you talk to her, and she likes to sleep on the bed with people.Kamara doesn’t show much interest in playing. Toys are beneath her dignity. And we can’t promise she would protect you from bugs in the house. But she loves to be near her people as a quiet presence, especially if you pet her. And who can resist with her soft satiny coat? She doesn’t love being brushed, but she tolerates it well enough and doesn’t seem to get mats or hairballs much.Quiet and respectful older kids are fine, but Kamara doesn’t appreciate rambunctious behavior. Her ideal home would be with a quiet adult or two who are retired or work from home, and live in a smaller place without any big open rooms. She has lots of love to give when she feels safe and protected. To meet Kamara and other adoptable Purr Partners kitties at one of our weekend adoptathon events, 1) review our adoption policies at https://www.purrpartners.org/adopt/policies/ and 2) then apply to become a pre-approved adopter at https://www.purrpartners.org/adopt/cats/For more information or to apply to adopt, please go to: https://www.purrpartners.org/adopt/
