Story
She is roughly 6 years old. We got her from a rescue shelter in 2020, but unfortunately are unable to take care of her anymore. She cannot be left alone for hours on end or she starting acting up, eating things she should not. She also has a rash that comes from grooming herself so much that she has licked her skin raw. This is most likely due to her anxiety around being left alone all day. My family and I cannot help that we are all out of the house during the day, and we have decided that she needs to be with someone who can be more present. Selina is very very sweet and cuddly. She adores curling up on your lap while you read or watch television. She meows a lot, but is easy to please with a few treats and head scratches.

Story
Name: Bastian Age: 4 months-ish Gender: Male Location: Durham, NC Hi Human! My name is Bastian. My foster mom named me this 'cause of my personality. If you've ever seeing the movie NeverEnding Story then you know the main character is Bastian. That's one of my foster moms favorite movies and she thought my personality fit his in the movie. Sweet with a little spunk and playfulness. I was rescued along with my brother Billy in a residential street outside. I had food and water but as a little kitten it was hard to survive all on my own. My left eye got badly infected, so bad that even my foster mom couldn't save it. :( She tried and tried but unfortunately I lost my left eye. :( I hope this doesn't deter you away from wanting to possibly adopt me. I can see perfectly out of my other eye and it hasn't affected me at all. I've been to the vet, neutered, vaccinated, tested and de-wormed. My eye has healed and i'm all healthy now ready to find my forever home. If possible, I'd like to be adopted with my brother Billy. Were best buddies and like to play together. I like the string toy, a nice big cat tree, scratching posts and a play tunnel. My foster mom says I can be skittish so i'm one of those cats where let me approach you and i'll give you loves. I purrr for my human/s when I feel relaxed and comfortable. I don't have as much energy as my brother but I can keep up with him for the most part. We play fight a lot and l like to run and jump on things. I don't let having only one eye affect me. There's an adoption fee and reference is required. If you'd like to meet me then reach out to my foster mom Heather at catsonthehorizon@gmail.com. I look forward to meeting you soon!

Story
Spooky is a loving, social kitty who has recently retired from mom life. She was found earlier this summer protecting her 5 tiny kittens in a crawlspace. She grew to love the indoors and her humans over the months and now cannot soak up enough attention! She loves greeting her humans as soon as they wake up to let them know how much she missed them. During the day, she can be found climbing into someone's lap, looking for affection. Her absolute favorite game is "stick-n-mat" where she will go into full hunting mode to chase a broken toy stick hidden underneath a placemat. Her second favorite toy is a fuzzy jingle mouse- she'll carry those up the stairs and meow to make sure everyone knows what she's caught. Wherever she goes, she's sure to bring her fluffy, sky-high tail and her curious green eyes with her. She loves snuggling up with her 6 month old kittens that are not yet adopted, Luci and Orzo, or playing with the resident cats at her foster home. Spooky gets along with other cats very well, but would also love being an only-cat with plenty of attention from her human family.
