Story
Ruthie was a stray found and posted to FB. We took her in. She has trust issues. She scratched me multiple times before I gained her trust. She has viral herpes which is not passed to other cats. This is a common virus in cats. It is acerbated by stress, i.e. other pets, surgery, relocation. Ruthie experiences sneezing, sore throat, watery eyes, and occasionally vomiting when it is at its height. She needs drops and antibiotics at that time. She takes a powder called Lysine twice a day. It is mixed in her wet food, and can be purchased without a prescription on Chewy. She needs to be an only pet. She will become very attached to her main caregiver. We have dogs and other cats. She does not like sharing her owner. She has started peeing on the places I sit and sleep to mark her territory. She is very loving, enjoys being brushed, spends much of her day sleeping, loves to climb in my lap! I wish we could keep her.

Story
Chief "Mr. Stubbs" is a petite young cat with a short manx tail. He is about a year old and loves other kitties so much. He tolerates dogs but we all know cats are smarter, so he likes to occasional scare the dog because it's just so fun. He loves to play, chase toys or anything he can turn into a toy, watch tv, and hang out in a window to watch the birds. Chief is not a lap kitty yet. He is very content hanging out in the room with you. He loves head scratches and laying beside you but is still not sure he should be picked up. He is food motivated so will come running when you call him or shake a treat container. He would make a great little brother to an another cat since he thrives on following their lead. Chief is neutered, up to date on vaccines and FeLV negative.September 5, 2024, 4:40 pm

Story
Lily, a 7 year old indoor-outdoor cat in fine health, likes to be rubbed up and likes to be near her person (on the table by the computer, on the bed at night, on the recliner's footrest), though she avoids being held or picked up. She is a skillful hunter and would make a good barn cat except that she really likes to be in the house. I took in Lily and her sister Lucy when their owner had to move away suddenly and asked if I would take them. But I don't want cats (or any other responsibility) in my life at this point, and need to pass on Lily while she is still healthy and not old, and can find a good home.

Story
Lucy, a 7 year old, indoor-outdoor, medium-hair calico in fine health, came to me with her sister Lily when a friend had to move suddenly and asked me to take her cats. With a sort of ruff around her face, a colorful, tail and ornamental white, black and tan patches Lucy looks adorable and makes a great house decoration! Though disliking being held or picked up, she enjoys being in my lap, on my bed or on the computer table when I'm there, and likes a head scratch and bit of rubbing-up. When she thinks it's dinner time she sits and stares at me and makes little hinting sounds, and if not getting prompt results she does a little bounce. She enjoys going outdoors when the weather's good but always comes home promptly when called and spends more time indoors than out.

Story
This sweet little kitty showed up at out house. She is adorable and oh so loving. She purrs every time you pet her and she follows us around. She is not afraid of our dogs and there is another cat that showed up around the same time and they are fine together. We already have indoor cats that do not accept new cats so she has to go. She needs someone that wants a buddy. She is so friendly and she wants so much to come inside to be with us. She can't stay here much longer because my dogs are barking so much when they see her outside the fence. We really need to find her a home. She will curl up in your lap or beside you and just wants to be loved. She has a notched ear which indicates she was part of a feral cat colony but she is WAY to friendly to return. She loves people! We will provide a litter pan, bag of litter and a weeks worth of food to a good home She must be adopted as an indoor cat.

Story
A beautiful stray mama had kittens on our porch and we did not want to see the babies suffer. We took mom and babies inside immediately and have been ensuring their wellbeing by providing a healthy diet, fun enrichment, and acclimating them to humans and love! Little cutie here is so sweet and loving, she is curious about her environment and loves to explore. She is the sweetest of the bunch and will surely grow up to be a cuddly cat. She loves other cats so will do good in a home with a veteran cat to show her the ways. Never been around dogs. Great appetite, house and litter box trained!

Story
Sol (Sun) is a stunning 2-year-old long-haired beauty. Originally adopted to be a companion for my other cat, she quickly became the heart of the household. Sol is the sweetest cat you’ll ever meet—playful, affectionate, and always ready for some love. She enjoys attention and is sure to brighten your days with her loving personality. Sol is litter box trained, spayed, and fully accustomed to living indoors. Nube (Cloud), the elder of the two, is 4 years old with a strong yet loving personality. She’s independent but enjoys lounging with you and relaxing. While she has a bit of a temper at times, it’s part of her charm, and she will still seek your company when she’s ready to chill. These two are deeply bonded and well-behaved. Unfortunately, due to my fiancé’s recent allergies, we can no longer keep them. Both Sol and Nube would make wonderful companions for anyone looking for loving and well-mannered cats.
