Meet Alfredo (Alfie)! 🐾 6yrs old It breaks my heart to be writing this, but due to an upcoming move to a home that doesn’t allow pets, I’m looking for the perfect forever home for Alfredo. Alfredo is a handsome, indoor-only cat with a sweet, gentle personality. He’s the kind of cat who enjoys affection—but on his own terms. Once he trusts you, he loves being scratched under his neck and will happily soak up the attention. He especially loves fish toys, treats, and being brushed, which is one of his favorite ways to bond. Like many cats, Alfredo has a few boundaries. He does not enjoy having his paws touched or his nails trimmed, so he’ll do best with someone who understands and respects feline body language and is willing to work with him patiently. I’m looking for someone who will love him for exactly who he is and give him the safe, stable home he deserves. This decision has been incredibly difficult, and finding the right family is my top priority.

Shadow is incredibly friendly and affectionate. He loves to snuggle, enjoys being picked up, and is perfectly content being carried around like a baby—especially by my kids, whom he adores. He can be a little timid around loud noises or new visitors and will usually hide until he feels comfortable, but once he warms up, he’s a wonderful companion. He loves to climb and explore—we joke that he’s part Spider-Man! He also enjoys playing with his toys and spending time with his people. Loves his occasional zoomies, and a good treat!

Meet Big Papa — your next peaceful (and talkative!) best friend. Don’t let the name fool you — Big Papa isn’t a giant cat, but he does have a giant heart. This friendly fluffy fellow appeared one freezing winter day at a managed cat colony, clearly once someone’s pet. From day one, he greeted his feeder with affectionate charm and quickly proved he belonged indoors. Now living safely inside with his foster mom, Big Papa is thriving. He loves climbing his cat tree, gazing out the window, and providing quiet companionship while she works. He’s also quite the conversationalist — a gentle “chatterbox” who likes to trade little sounds back and forth, creating the sweetest two-way chats. Big Papa is FIV-positive, which means he’ll need to live indoors and have regular vet care—but many FIV cats live long, happy, healthy lives. FIV is not spread among cats through casual contact such as grooming, sharing dishes, food, water bowls, or litter boxes; it requires deep bites that break the skin and exchange blood. Most veterinarians and feline health organizations agree that FIV-positive and FIV-negative cats can safely coexist in a calm, stable household. Spaying/neutering and ensuring all cats are well-socialized and not aggressive further decreases any minimal risk of transmission. Careful introductions and close observation are recommended at first, especially for signs of aggression or fighting. He is a young adult cat who enjoys calm surroundings. He’d be happiest in a peaceful home without very young children. In return, he’ll offer endless affection, cozy company, and his delightfully soothing presence. Meet Miss Rey-Rey!  What a beautiful black and grey tabby kitten.  Born on February 21, 2025, one of 7 littermates, Rey is petite in size.  She had to battle 5 boys for any attention, but since her siblings have been adopted, Rey has come into her own.  Her personality was somewhat reserved, as her brothers stole all the attention.  She currently stays in the main part of the house, and, WOW, is she blossoming!  Her little tail is in the “happy stance”, strait up in the air, as she trots along following me room to room.  Although she gets along with other foster kitties, Rey simply loves being the center of attention.  And she loves that the wanded toy is 100% hers, and hers alone.  The flying fish on the wand tests her skills daily.  Hourly, if Rey has her way!  A few somersaults and back flips are in order.  She enjoys carrying the fish away, wand and all, as she manages to carry the toy up the cat tower!  Adorable.  She also likes attacking the feathered toy.  It does not stand a chance.  Once it is nap time, Rey is not far away.  Either she is at your feet, or lying next to your lap, or in her hammock, making dough.  Purring motor running loudly, of course.  This lovely lady is a quiet little kitten, that will brighten your world.  Not particularly vocal, Rey has a sweet, gentle personality.  She and her siblings were some of the lucky ones.  They were born inside, safe and warm, and were nursed by their mama for 8 weeks, and then some.  We battled the typical parasites, fungal and bacterial infections that seem inherent with young kittens, but all were ultimately healthy babies.  Rey has received care and love from her first day.  Beautiful and sweet.  Soft little fur-ball with kind, green eyes.  Quite the package.  Don’t let this lovely girl get away!  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.comMarch 7, 2026, 12:24 pm

Meet Mr. Milo! 3.5-year-old gentleman weighing in at a distinguished 21 lbs. This sweet marmalade muffin is equal parts cuddle bug and goofball. He’s mastered the art of slow blinks, loud purrs, and stealing the warmest spot in the house. Ideal home includes unlimited chin scratches, sunny windowsills, and someone who appreciates a chonky king. If you are looking for a big boy to grace your home he is the guy for you.
