Daisy enjoys both cuddle time and playtime, making her the perfect mix of affectionate and fun. She is currently in a foster home with dogs, another cat and even bunnies! Meet Little! Born around 8/25/2025, Little is a charming Domestic Medium Hair kitten with a beautiful white and gray coat. He’s curious, playful, talkative, and absolutely photogenic! Little loves playing with toys and humans, curling up for naps with his fellow cats, exploring his surroundings, and greeting you with his sweet personality. He has a funny little habit of waving his front paw when he wants to play. This little guy is litter box trained and, like many kittens, does best with someone home often to help him feel secure. He’s great with older dogs and cats, but is still building confidence with puppies and learning to navigate social interactions since he was found alone at just 3 weeks old. Little would thrive in a patient home where he can take his time to warm up, but once he does, he showers his humans with love. He’s suitable for homes with children of any age and can adapt well to both first-time pet owners and experienced families. 💗 Meet Lover, a domestic shorthair tuxedo female kitten. She joined us through our Shelter Transfer partnership with Forsyth Animal Control. She is spayed, microchipped, has her rabies vaccine and started her FVRCP vaccines. 💗 While a bit shy, Lover is a tiny lover -- she just does so on her own terms. She is a cat's cat -- she perks up when a cat (young or old) comes into the room, and loves to follow them around, sleep beside them or play with them. She knows her routine well, comes into the kitchen to demand snacks, and sleeps on her cat beds on the couch & on the bed when you're nearby. Lover's best home will be with someone with a lot of love to give, and also will continue to work on her socialization (she loves chicken and lick treats!) She has exposure to, and comfortable with other cats and kids -- and we will prioritize apps where another cat is present. Grey’s Angel Girl was surrendered to Critter Cavalry Rescue last November, rescued from a farm of many, many sick cats.  This 3 year old was one of the lucky ones.  Not terribly sick; nothing that a few different medications quickly cured.  Now inside, in the kitty room, Grey definitely felt “out-of-sorts” for the first few months.  She was difficult to even touch the first several weeks.  A lot of hissing and fussing, I knew she was just scared.  Slowly but surely, Grey came to realize she was in a safe spot.  All this lady needed was a little love and reassurance every day, that it was all okay.  “This soft bed is for me?  This cozy cubby is mine?”  It has been rewarding to watch her improve day after day.  Grey is about 90% there, and with a little extra TLC, she will reach 100% in no time. There is a sweetheart in there.  Do you secretly cheer for the under-dog?  Or under-cat, in this case?  She so wants her forever home!  To pass the time, Grey Girl plays well on her own and alone.  She likes to bat the ball on the triple tiered ball toy.  Or the feathered toy on the end of the wand.  Grey Girl enjoys playing with the one year old female in the kitty room.  They play tag up and down the cat tower.  It is short-lived, but at least she has learned to play with others.  She is friendly with the other cats in the kitty room, but I think Grey would blossom more if she is the only cat getting all the attention!  She has never known that, being “the only cat”.  Grey can barely contain herself when mom pulls out the rubber brush!  No matter where she is in the kitty room, she is next to me immediately.  She is soon a large lump of love.  You can brush her for hours, it seems.  It is great watching her roll over and relax.  Grey has mastered the art of napping.  Don’t we all wish we could nap like a cat?  Head scratches?  Grey cannot get enough of them.  And back scratches, too?  Show me more!  Can you embrace this lovely, diluted grey and tan tortie with those big green, beautiful eyes?  It is time for her to get selected.  It is time for her to find her forever home.  Are you here to save the day?  To save Grey?  Please email CCR at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you want to be her 'Saving Greyce'.  Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped.
