Estimated Birthday: 8/1/2025 Meet Juniper: Your Gentle Soul Mate 🌿 Sweet Juniper may have started life behind a restaurant, but this special girl is ready to bloom in her forever home! At just 16 weeks old, this petite 3-pound beauty has already shown incredible resilience and trust. Don't let her initial shyness fool you – once Juniper feels safe, she transforms into an absolute purr machine! She loves you, and she lets you know how much. Unlike your typical wild kitten, Juniper has a calm, mellow personality that makes her the perfect cozy companion for cuddles on cold winter nights. She adores gentle pets and will happily snuggle beside you for hours (though she prefers to keep all four paws on the ground rather than being picked up). Juniper has already proven she's a social butterfly with both cats and dogs, making her a wonderful addition to a multi-pet household. She embraces her role in the bosom of a loving family. What she needs most is a patient, understanding family who will give her time to settle in and show her true colors. Cat-savvy kids of any age are welcome – she just needs folks who understand that good things come to those who wait! If you're looking for a laid-back companion who will reward your patience with endless purrs and sweet snuggles, Juniper is your girl. She's ready to trade her restaurant roots for a cozy couch and a big loving family of her very own. Ready to give Juniper the calm, loving home she deserves? 💚Contact us today to meet your future forever feline. 💗 Meet Lover, a domestic shorthair tuxedo female kitten. She joined us through our Shelter Transfer partnership with Forsyth Animal Control. She is spayed, microchipped, has her rabies vaccine and started her FVRCP vaccines. 💗 While a bit shy, Lover is a tiny lover -- she just does so on her own terms. She is a cat's cat -- she perks up when a cat (young or old) comes into the room, and loves to follow them around, sleep beside them or play with them. She knows her routine well, comes into the kitchen to demand snacks, and sleeps on her cat beds on the couch & on the bed when you're nearby. Lover's best home will be with someone with a lot of love to give, and also will continue to work on her socialization (she loves chicken and lick treats!) She has exposure to, and comfortable with other cats and kids -- and we will prioritize apps where another cat is present. Adoption Fee: $200 (now $100) And thanks to a grant, adoption fees are reduced in December so pounce fast! Story
Meet Charlie Boy – The Tuxedo Gentleman with a Heart of Gold Hi there, I’m Charlie Boy, and I’m all dressed up in my black-and-white tuxedo, ready to steal the show—and maybe your heart, too! I’m a sweet, gentle guy with a classy look and a whole lot of love to give. I’m not just handsome—I’m affectionate, laid-back, and always happy to curl up with a good nap or some head scratches. Whether you’re reading a book, watching a movie, or just enjoying some quiet time, I’ll be right by your side looking fabulous. Now, I want to be honest with you—I’m FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus positive). But here’s the truth: it doesn’t slow me down one bit. I feel great, and with a little routine vet care and a loving home, I can live a long, healthy, and happy life. FIV is often misunderstood, but it’s only passed through deep bite wounds, which means I can safely live with other friendly cats, too. FIV+ kitties like me are often overlooked, and that’s the saddest part—we have so much love to give, if someone would just give us a chance. So if you’re looking for a dashing, kind-hearted companion who will always be dressed to impress, I’m your guy. Let’s make this a forever kind of thing. Contact ccrnewengland@gmail.com to learn more about adopting me—Charlie Boy—and see just how special a tuxedo cat can be. Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 8, 2025, 11:01 am

Story
Grey’s Angel Girl was surrendered to Critter Cavalry Rescue last November, rescued from a farm of many, many sick cats.  This 3 year old was one of the lucky ones.  Not terribly sick; nothing that a few different medications quickly cured.  Now inside, in the kitty room, Grey definitely felt “out-of-sorts” for the first few months.  She was difficult to even touch the first several weeks.  A lot of hissing and fussing, I knew she was just scared.  Slowly but surely, Grey came to realize she was in a safe spot.  All this lady needed was a little love and reassurance every day, that it was all okay.  “This soft bed is for me?  This cozy cubby is mine?”  It has been rewarding to watch her improve day after day.  Grey is about 90% there, and with a little extra TLC, she will reach 100% in no time. There is a sweetheart in there.  Do you secretly cheer for the under-dog?  Or under-cat, in this case?  She so wants her forever home!  To pass the time, Grey Girl plays well on her own and alone.  She likes to bat the ball on the triple tiered ball toy.  Or the feathered toy on the end of the wand.  Grey Girl enjoys playing with the one year old female in the kitty room.  They play tag up and down the cat tower.  It is short-lived, but at least she has learned to play with others.  She is friendly with the other cats in the kitty room, but I think Grey would blossom more if she is the only cat getting all the attention!  She has never known that, being “the only cat”.  Grey can barely contain herself when mom pulls out the rubber brush!  No matter where she is in the kitty room, she is next to me immediately.  She is soon a large lump of love.  You can brush her for hours, it seems.  It is great watching her roll over and relax.  Grey has mastered the art of napping.  Don’t we all wish we could nap like a cat?  Head scratches?  Grey cannot get enough of them.  And back scratches, too?  Show me more!  Can you embrace this lovely, diluted grey and tan tortie with those big green, beautiful eyes?  It is time for her to get selected.  It is time for her to find her forever home.  Are you here to save the day?  To save Grey?  Please email CCR at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you want to be her 'Saving Greyce'.  Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped.
