I’m a sweet, gentle guy with a classy look and a whole lot of love to give. I’m not just handsome—I’m affectionate, laid-back, and always happy to curl up with a good nap or some head scratches. Whether you’re reading a book, watching a movie, or just enjoying some quiet time, I’ll be right by your side looking fabulous. Now, I want to be honest with you—I’m FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus positive). But here’s the truth: it doesn’t slow me down one bit. I feel great, and with a little routine vet care and a loving home, I can live a long, healthy, and happy life. FIV is often misunderstood, but it’s only passed through deep bite wounds, which means I can safely live with other friendly cats, too. FIV+ kitties like me are often overlooked, and that’s the saddest part—we have so much love to give, if someone would just give us a chance. Grey’s Angel Girl was surrendered to Critter Cavalry Rescue last November, rescued from a farm of many, many sick cats.  This 3 year old was one of the lucky ones.  Not terribly sick; nothing that a few different medications quickly cured.  Now inside, in the kitty room, Grey definitely felt “out-of-sorts” for the first few months.  She was difficult to even touch the first several weeks.  A lot of hissing and fussing, I knew she was just scared.  Slowly but surely, Grey came to realize she was in a safe spot.  All this lady needed was a little love and reassurance every day, that it was all okay.  “This soft bed is for me?  This cozy cubby is mine?”  It has been rewarding to watch her improve day after day.  Grey is about 90% there, and with a little extra TLC, she will reach 100% in no time. There is a sweetheart in there.  Do you secretly cheer for the under-dog?  Or under-cat, in this case?  She so wants her forever home!  To pass the time, Grey Girl plays well on her own and alone.  She likes to bat the ball on the triple tiered ball toy.  Or the feathered toy on the end of the wand.  Grey Girl enjoys playing with the one year old female in the kitty room.  They play tag up and down the cat tower.  It is short-lived, but at least she has learned to play with others.  She is friendly with the other cats in the kitty room, but I think Grey would blossom more if she is the only cat getting all the attention!  She has never known that, being “the only cat”.  Grey can barely contain herself when mom pulls out the rubber brush!  No matter where she is in the kitty room, she is next to me immediately.  She is soon a large lump of love.  You can brush her for hours, it seems.  It is great watching her roll over and relax.  Grey has mastered the art of napping.  Don’t we all wish we could nap like a cat?  Head scratches?  Grey cannot get enough of them.  And back scratches, too?  Show me more!  Can you embrace this lovely, diluted grey and tan tortie with those big green, beautiful eyes?  It is time for her to get selected.  It is time for her to find her forever home.  Are you here to save the day?  To save Grey?  Please email CCR at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you want to be her 'Saving Greyce'.  Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. Meet Little Squirt – A Tortie Treasure Looking for Love  Little Squirt is a 1-year-old shorthaired tortoiseshell beauty with a heart as warm as her mottled coat. Meet Miss Rey-Rey!  What a beautiful black and grey tabby kitten.  Born on February 21, 2025, one of 7 littermates, Rey is petite in size.  She had to battle 5 boys for any attention, but since her siblings have been adopted, Rey has come into her own.  Her personality was somewhat reserved, as her brothers stole all the attention.  She currently stays in the main part of the house, and, WOW, is she blossoming!  Her little tail is in the “happy stance”, strait up in the air, as she trots along following me room to room.  Although she gets along with other foster kitties, Rey simply loves being the center of attention.  And she loves that the wanded toy is 100% hers, and hers alone.  The flying fish on the wand tests her skills daily.  Hourly, if Rey has her way!  A few somersaults and back flips are in order.  She enjoys carrying the fish away, wand and all, as she manages to carry the toy up the cat tower!  Adorable.  She also likes attacking the feathered toy.  It does not stand a chance.  Once it is nap time, Rey is not far away.  Either she is at your feet, or lying next to your lap, or in her hammock, making dough.  Purring motor running loudly, of course.  This lovely lady is a quiet little kitten, that will brighten your world.  Not particularly vocal, Rey has a sweet, gentle personality.  She and her siblings were some of the lucky ones.  They were born inside, safe and warm, and were nursed by their mama for 8 weeks, and then some.  We battled the typical parasites, fungal and bacterial infections that seem inherent with young kittens, but all were ultimately healthy babies.  Rey has received care and love from her first day.  Beautiful and sweet.  Soft little fur-ball with kind, green eyes.  Quite the package.  Don’t let this lovely girl get away!  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.comSeptember 29, 2025, 12:37 am

Prince Dandelion started his foster journey by climbing into the undercarriage of a Critter Cavalry volunteer's car and getting discovered there. He was just 5 weeks old at the time and now he is close to 17 weeks and now weighs 3.5 pounds and considered a handsome dilute orange tabby.  He has a perfect lion profile and a beautiful tawny coat. He reminded his foster moms of a Dandelion, so he became Prince Dandelion. He's just as sweet and unexpected as a wildflower and on so playful, and yet cuddly. He's the perfect combination fun and love.
