Story
All great oaks grow from a single Acorn! This little guy is as sweet as they come. He dreams of being in the rodeo: he’s practicing by rearing up for pets whenever your hand is near! His warm, dreamy, caramel eyes make you wonder if he’s a cat or a lovable cow. When he’s not snuggled up next to you, he loves to play. Have you ever wanted a teddy bear to fall asleep with but also a voracious playmate? Then Acorn may be your cat. He will love you with his whole heart but also call dibs on the middle of the bed when it’s time to sleep. It’s his world, we just live in it. Acorn has come a long way since joining Cat Tales and has had a major glow-up. If you want to put down some strong roots, consider planting Acron in your life!

Story
Bonded with Clooney so must be adopted as a pair! Born in late February of 2024, Redford is as handsome and charming as his namesake. This gorgeous young boy is very people oriented and LOVES to sit in his foster mom's lap. He craves attention and melts into a fuzzy mound of fur when he gets ear scratches. He comes to our rescue from a rural northern NC shelter. He was part of a litter of 4 boys that were surrendered together. He is bonded with his equally handsome brother, Clooney, so they must be adopted as a pair.

Ready to shake things up? Meet me, Martini! I'm a soft sweetheart who enjoys exploring and traversing high places. My snuggle buddy is Ashley as we're both very chill. I get along well with other cats and although I appreciate a quiet space, I also don't mind sharing. I must be adopted with my sister, Ashley.

I'm Ashley, and I'm an easy-going girl with the silkiest fur. I prefer to observe and snuggle quietly, and once I'm comfortable with you I'll roll over for belly rubs. I tend to keep to myself, although I do enjoy cuddling with Martini. I would love to be in a home that's calm and caring. I must be adopted with my brother, Martini.

Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained,
Story
We took in a few strays that had kittens and have been trying to find homes ever since! Little cutie is curious about her environment and loves to explore. She seems to love her time alone but also loves to see what you are up to and be around. She loves other cats so will do good in a home with a veteran cat to show her the ways. Never been around dogs. Great appetite, house and litter box trained! We would love to set up a time to have a video call (FaceTime, WhatsApp, Zoom) so that you can see the cat and get to know them more before meeting. Please put an email you frequently answer and then we will coordinate a call from there :)!

Story
Black Bean has all white beans except one. Hence the name! He is a very playful guy. About 5 months old and just looking for his forever home. He hasn’t met many new people but with the handful he’s met, he’s usually a bit shy at first. But, he’s very fun and loves to play! And before you know it he’ll become the entertainment every evening! He currently lives with 2 other cats (one is his mother) and one 80 pound dog. He’s had no issues with them at all. Black Bean is a wonderful little handsome kitten and I hope someone else thinks he is too and wants to bring him home.

Story
Cane is a sweet, gentle cat who came to our rescue from a high-kill shelter in 2020, along with another kitty named Bane (adopted). At first, Cane was very fearful of people and would keep to himself or hide whenever visitors were around. But with time, he’s gradually learned to trust and has built up enough confidence to venture out from our Shy Cat area to mingle with visitors, albeit from a safe distance. It’s very clear from Cane’s body language that he’s right on the cusp of taking that next step and maybe allowing a gentle pet or two. Cane would love nothing more than to find a quiet, supportive home with understanding caretakers who are willing to let him bloom on his own terms and pace. We aren’t sure how he’d do around dogs, but he gets along fine with the other cats at the Goathouse and would likely not mind sharing a home with another easy-going, non-dominant cat. Approx. DOB: 05-22-2018
