Story
HI, Cheddar here and I have a pretty awesome story to tell. See I went from rags to riches in the matter of 24 hours. All the cats on my block say to not let it get in my head because I can end up back on the streets in the blink of an eye. However I have more faith in mankind than that. I know that humans love an adorable clingy cat so I make sure to lay that on thick. I will never go back to the streets with those tricks up my sleeve, and to ensure my kingdom remains in tack I use all the power in my little body to demand all the pets and cuddles I can possibly get. Now here is the thing: my palace must have all the comfy spots a cat can ever want cause well why not, hello I am the center of attention. I may be somewhat of a thief because I just dont think it's fair that the humans here make food for themselves and refuse to share, you must agree right, how rude is that? I mean they do make up for their little flaw by giving me all the play time I could ever dream of. Did you know that they make fuzzy things on a string that don't hurt you? I never thought I could have that much fun spazzing out and playing with that thing. My fosters call it a cat toy and let me just say YES! Now that I have made it off the awful streets and have a luxury life I am looking for a permanent place to claim as my own. I may be a little dopey looking but the vet says I am fine and well that is that so I hope to settle down soon!

Story
Clay is one hand some boy. He is soft and fluffy and oh such a gentleman. He’s shy to start with and hid a bit when he first came to his foster home. Once coming out of his shell he is the sweetest boy. He doesn’t mind being picked up and purrs when he gets kisses. He likes to cuddle on the bed with his foster mom. He’s living with his litter mate Phoebe, younger kittens, and older cats and gets along with everyone. Clay is still shy with the dogs but he’s getting used to them. He would make the perfect addition to anyone’s family. Are you interested in adopting Clay or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. Story
When looking at Phoebe it’s like looking at a Disney Princess. Her coloring is so pretty and her fur so soft, even her tail is extra fluffy. Phoebe’s disposition is as sweet as her face. She is a bit more outgoing than her brother Clay. She enjoys playing with her brother and the other foster kittens and cats in the house. She enjoys being petted and loved on while she rests on the cat tree. She hasn’t cuddled with her foster parents yet, but she purrs happily when you give her love. Are you interested in adopting Phoebe or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. Story
Tula was rescued after finding herself stuck under a fence and then in a rural shelter. Tula is one very sweet and happy kitty. She makes biscuits and purrs so happily. She wants a lot of attention and will follow you around like a puppy. Tula has scarring on her right eye which gives her a unique look but causes her no health issues. She's just fine and has beautiful wide eyes. She would prefer to be the one and only kitty. Although she lives with other cats, some seem to irritate her. She would be quite happy being the only kitty and would make a wonderful companion to her humans. Story
Five years ago I fostered an amazing, adventurous cat named Tux. He was adopted and loved and cared for but had to be returned recently. The adopter was devastated that he could no longer keep him. I promised I would work hard to find him another loving—and hopefully forever—home. He is the same curious, friendly and affectionate cat. He is healthy and current on all his vaccinations. He gets along great with other cats and dogs after the proper introduction, but would also be happy as an only pet.  For more information and to complete an online application, please visit www.pawprintsrescue.org September 18, 2024, 6:50 pm

Story
Laney is a sweet little tabby who was trapped as a kitten. Now with her wild past behind her, she is social and playful! She does well with other kitties and with dogs. She thinks a wand toy is pretty fun, but so is a good wrestle with her foster brother! This little tyke has lots of energy, so she would love a home with a friend!  For more information and to complete an online application, please visit www.pawprintsrescue.org September 18, 2024, 6:50 pm

Story
Sugar Pop is the only boy in the "sugar babies" litter. A runt, he was outnumbered and out manuevered by his sisters. But he holds his own, wrestling, leaping and playing with the girls. Sugar Pop is an outgoing and sweet boy.  He is good with other kitties and he never met a Churo he didn't love.  For more information and to complete an online application, please visit www.pawprintsrescue.org September 18, 2024, 6:50 pm

Story
Cinnabon is a dark beauty with golden eyes. She's extremely friendly and loves interacting with her foster mom. She’s a bit of a diva and prefers being the center of attention and may be happiest as the only object of your affection. However, given time and the proper introduction she should be okay with a pal. She’s extremely affectionate.  For more information and to complete an online application, please visit www.pawprintsrescue.org September 18, 2024, 6:50 pm
