Story
Ree was adopted from the SPCA in the spring of 2025. She is 8 years old! I have 3 dogs that chase her and scare her and I feel she needs a home where she can be more free to explore and have a peaceful life. She only eats Hills adult food, and her favorite toys are scratchpads.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Violet DOB:  Aug 1, 2025 (est) Spayed Female            Medium Hair                Black Oh, hello, how are you? My name is Violet, and finding a nice forever home would make my day perfect (and I suspect adopting me would make your day perfect, too)! Here’s my story: I was found and rescued with my littermates and I know a good thing when I see it! I am ready to live the VIK (Very Important Kitty) life, safe and warm with a loving family. Now, it may take me a minute to warm up, but don’t worry: once I have my bearings, you’ll see me shine like a rare gem! In fact, one of my most favorite activities is to just hang out with my people, like a tiny (and adorable) shadow. I may even help out with household chores. Of course, I love to play, and even though I have my pick of fancy mouse toys, I’m completely happy to just bat around a bit of cardboard. I would love to have another kitty friend to play with in my home, and (with a slow introduction) would get along well with a cat-friendly dog, too. I would be a great buddy for everyone in the family (kids should be old enough to know how to safely play with kitties). So, if you’re looking for a sweet, loving little friend, let’s get to know each other. Reach out to Best Friend Pet Adoption and let them know you would like to meet Violet! Dogs:  Must have kitty manners Other cats:  Good with others, needs a friend Kids:  Over 6 with kitty experienceVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 30, 2025, 9:57 am

Story
Meet Teddy Grant – The Fearless Big Brother with a Heart of Gold Teddy Grant is a striking black-and-white medium-haired boy with a personality as bold as his markings. This little guy is fearless and endlessly curious, always ready to explore, investigate, and dive headfirst into whatever adventure the day brings. Teddy is a social butterfly who adores both cats and dogs. He’s the ultimate “big brother” in his foster home—grooming his younger foster siblings, watching over them, and joining every cuddle puddle he can find. When he’s not zooming around with his boundless energy, he melts into the sweetest snugglebug. Once he’s tired, he loves being held and insists on pets that require both your hands—because one simply isn’t enough for this affectionate boy. As with all kittens under five months, Teddy must be adopted with a foster mate or another young kitten to help him grow into a confident, well-socialized cat.  Playful, loving, and full of charm, Teddy Grant is the perfect mix of spirited fun and gentle sweetness. If you’re looking for a kitten who brings joy, companionship, and a whole lot of love, Teddy is ready to be your brave little shadow and your best friend. If you are interested in adopting Teddy Grant, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 50 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. Story
Meet Ophelia – A Blue-Eyed Panther with a Poetic Soul Ophelia is a breathtaking medium-haired panther kitten with mesmerizing blue-green eyes that seem to hold a thousand stories. Named after Fate of Ophelia, she carries a quiet elegance and a touch of mystery—but don’t be fooled by her dreamy gaze. This little panther is just as much a lover as she is a (play)fighter. She’ll curl up in your lap like a velvet shadow, purring softly as she soaks in your affection. But when the toys come out, Ophelia transforms into a fierce little whirlwind—leaping, pouncing, and showing off her playful spirit with every move. Ophelia is looking for a forever home where she can be adopted with one of her beloved siblings—Miso, Indy, Elizabeth Taylor, or Showgirl—to help her grow into a confident, well-socialized cat. Together, they’ll bring balance, joy, and a whole lot of heart to your home. If you’re ready for a kitten who’s equal parts poetry and play, Ophelia is waiting to write her next chapter with you.  If you are interested in adopting Ophelia, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 50 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. Story
Meet Watermelon, the medium-haired Torbie with the sweetest heart and just a touch of diva sparkle! Her beautiful coat combines the classic tortoiseshell swirl of black and orange with the distinctive tabby stripes, making her a truly unique and eye-catching feline. Watermelon is incredibly affectionate and thrives on attention – she loves to be pampered with cuddles and long petting sessions on her terms, of course. When she's not charming her humans with her sweetness, she's likely exploring her surroundings with a curious and playful spirit, enjoying interactive toys and perhaps even showing off her agility with some climbing adventures. While she appreciates a peaceful environment and loves a cozy spot in the sun for naps, Watermelon's vibrant personality also shines through in her spirited meows and expressive communication. She's known to "converse" with her humans, especially when it's time for dinner or when she has something important to convey. She subsists with other cats fine but is a queen and expects space and deference by all other furry beings.  Don't let her delicate looks fool you; Watermelon possesses a bold and confident streak, perfectly befitting her Torbie heritage. If you're looking for a striking and engaging companion with a personality as beautiful as her coat, Watermelon might just be the purrfect addition to your home! If you are interested in adopting Watermelon, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 50 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. Story
Found Percy on a Carolina cat’s group when he was a kitten. My schedule has been busy planning a wedding and moving in soon with my fiancée who is not a fan of him. He is often bored and can get destructive. For entertainment he loves to go out on the patio and bird watch.
