Cattleya is a big sweetheart but will need TLC and patience while she adjusts to her new home. I was helping her disabled owner care for her and unfortunately he is no longer with us. It took her approximately 48 hours to come out of hiding when she came to our house but now she is moving around like a happy cat and cuddles with me at night. I am very bonded to her but cannot keep her because I already have 3 cats of my own. I have not introduced her to my cats so not sure how she would be with other cats but I believe cats can be trained to get along if the owner is willing to work on it. As far as dogs, she has met my dog and has not been aggressive or scared of her. I cannot guarantee though that this would be the case with other dogs. I am more than happy to help her new owner transition to her new home and will take her back if it does not work out. I am against taking her to a shelter because I cannot bare to put her in a cage until she is adopted.

Santana came to us almost a year ago as an owner surrender that was pregnant. She also came along with her daughters that were pregnant and her son that caused all the mischief. Or should we say it could’ve all been prevented by spaying and neutering. We were able to care for them all in adopt all of their babies out but Santana is still left with us waiting for a home. This sweet 2 1/2-year-old grandma met a friend in 1 year-old Findlay. It is very sweet to watch them bend and weave in and out of each other when you are giving them attention. Finley was saved from living a life outside of an art studio in a neighborhood of Cleveland considered an art district. She had people caring for her, but did not have a home of her own. Luckily, we were able to take her in and give her the works a.k.a. spayed and wellness care. She was a little shy at first, but definitely receptive of human attention. While she was acclimating with us, she had met her friend Santana, and they became best buds! Both of these ladies are very receptive attention but do become reserved in new situations. We just know that their friendship will help light the way to becoming new family members in your home! We can’t wait for you to meet them! We know that you’re just going to fall in love! FeLV (leukemia) positive🤍🤍🤍 Halen is a bonus cat. He was a cat that we were able to save because we were trapping in a location where there were two kittens that needed rescue. As we always say, a trap cat is a good cat. In our world, helping a kitty cat get care is always a good thing, whether the cat is friendly or not. In Halen’s case, it was extra good that we got him Halen is a very sweet boy who loves affection. He just wants to be held and snuggled. The people in the neighborhood where we were trying to save the kittens said that he has been around the neighborhood for a while. It is always difficult when there is a cat trying to survive outside, especially one that is socialized to humans and would flourish inside. Unfortunately, Halen is FeLV positive (feline leukemia). We tested him twice with the Elyza snap test. Both times he was positive and we did a quantitative PCR, and he was PCR positive. Unfortunately, that means he is going to stay leukemia positive. Fortunately, he is not showing any signs and seems completely healthy. A home that is very low stress with a high quality diet should keep him healthy for a long time. We do not have his backstory, so we do not know if he was born with leukemia or acquired it while he was trying to survive out there on the streets. All we know is he is living with it now, and he deserves a home filled with love! Halen does very well with other cats so he can be adopted into a home with another leukemia positive cat. Leukemia is contagious through body fluids so he cannot be in a home with leukemia negative cats. He could also be in a home with no other cats. Leukemia is not contagious to people or to dogs. Meet Marbles!  He's a gorgeous medium-hair tuxedo cat who is looking for a loving forever home! Marbles was a stray cat living outside, and who started visiting his foster's home periodically at the beginning of 2022.  He would saunter across her porch four times each day! She fed him outside from March until she could bring him inside the last day of September on a cold, rainy & windy night.  Marbles is friendly with men and women, and enjoys attention, especially rubs on his head, face and back. When he plays, he likes feather and ribbon wands, toy ring with ball inside, and small stuffed toys, especially mice with long tails to chase and capture! He adores fresh (both leaves and stem!) and dried catnip. He uses a corrugated cardboard scratching post, and not the furniture. He is happy as an indoor-only cat and should remain as such. We think Marbles would do best in a quiet household, without children or lots of rambunctious activity. When around small children, Marbles needs them to talk quietly and move slowly to gain his trust before petting him, or he will become frightened and run away.  We also think he might do best as the only cat in a household.  In his foster home, there is another cat, and while he does not show visible aggressive behavior, (no ears flat against his head, no back arching, no puffy tail, no hissing or growling), he wants to be the dominant cat. Since he lived outside, he is just learning how to play, but is learning fast! He’s also just getting used to normal house noises (like the heat starting to blow!), so will need someone to understand that some things may be a little frightening to him initially. Like a lot of cats, Marbles is motivated by food and treats and will come running where you want him to be if you shake the treat bag or add food to the bowl. He loves canned tuna, and any wet foods you'll feed him.   Marbles is estimated to be about 2 years' old.  He is up to date on appropriate vaccines, and is neutered.  He is such a sweetheart and will make someone the BEST companion. Hi. I’m Boots. I was rescued from the second floor porch of an abandoned home by my foster mom after she was told about a cat crying on the porch for 3 days. With the assistance of the Cleveland Police and the City of Cleveland Division of Animal Care and Control, I was rescued and placed in a PAWS foster home. My foster mom says I’m one of the sweetest kitties she’s ever fostered. I’m completely comfortable around new people and new cats. I love playing with my cat foster brothers and sisters. My human foster brother has visited with his mini toy poodle and I do not enjoy the company of dogs at all so I would prefer a home without dogs. You would not think Zane was a senior cat with his zest for life and surprising activity level! He jumps, he moves with purpose, and he doesn't miss a trick. We joke that he reminds of of Jack Black, always making friends, and posing in a silly way that puts a smile on everyone's face! Zane has been happy to live with other cats, as long as he isn't left out of fun or attention. He's not a pushover with them, and will stand up for himself if he feels other cats are bullying or getting too rowdy. He mostly wants to hang with his people, ask them how their day was, and check out what's new on Netflix together! We can't say enough wonderful things about this big lovable boy.
