Story
Hello my name is Kipp! The GHS family think that I'm awesome because I am such a gentle, "old soul" - I may only be 4, but it seems like I have experience beyond my years. I love to nap and lounge in my comfy bed! I appreciate soft pets, but I don't like to be overwhelmed with attention. I like my humans to respect my space when I want it. I have lived with older children, cats and dogs before and enjoyed being around them when they were calm. I am super handsome with poofy, soft fur that is oh-so silky - don't you think I would make the perfect addition to your home?MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES...CHILDREN: I could be a great match with calm, older childrenOTHER CATS: I could be a good match with a respectful cat, after a proper introductionDOGS: I could be a good match with a respectful dog, after a proper introductionFIRST-TIME CAT OWNERS: Yes, experience with shy cat would be an assetSOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME...ACTIVITY LEVEL: Low-mediumAM I ON A PRESCRIPTION DIET? Story
Meet Ginger (~ 2 years old, female, short haired calico) & Apricot (~ 3 years old, female, long haired dilute calico)! This bonded pair were abandoned and taken in by a kind individual who could not keep them due to health issues. These sweet girls are gentle souls. Apricot is very outgoing and very cuddly once she gets to know you. Ginger is friendly but a little shier. Ginger is a bit of a couch potato while Apricot is more inquisitive and likes to climb. They have adjusted well in their foster home with a large dog and were fine with the other cats in the home that rescued them. Apricot & Ginger would do best in a more mature home and will make great companions for the right family! Ginger and Apricot came to us already spayed. We have brought vaccines up to date and both tested negative for FIV/FELV. If you have room in your heart & your home for Ginger & Apricot, contact us here or email heartstohomesfelines@gmail.com. The adoption fee is $400 for the pair.

Story
River came to us with his Mom and siblings March 14, 2023 from a small rescue that was overwhelmed. This little family went to a foster home to allow the best outcome possible for them. River is a sweet cuddly kitten, playful and adventurous. He loves his treats and wet food. He is very social.River developed a condition called FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). This condition creates fluid in the abdomen and is fatal to cats. Luckily River was enrolled in the FIP study program and went through 84 days receiving daily GS pills and then 90 days receiving Mefloquine pills. We are thrilled to say that River survived his FIP diagnosis and is now a "FIP Survivor". The FIP treatment cost approximately $3,000.00. While River is cured now, he may or may not relapse but he is doing great so far. It is for this reason that we require a very strong vet relationship with a healthy cushion for vet related expenses. For more information about River and his success story, please contact the shelter at 519 833 2287 or by email at info@uppercredit.com.

CHARLIE, F/S, DSH, BLACKBORN APRIL 1 2023BONDED TO PEPPERHello there, I'm Charlie. I'm a little shy at first, but once I warm up, you'll see my playful side. I love chasing after my favorite toys and exploring new hiding spots. My sister Pepper, she's a lot bolder than me. She's always the first to dive into a new game or try a new treat. Speaking of treats, I absolutely adore them! I'm a bit hand shy, but I'm working on it. I may need a little time to trust, but I promise, I'm worth it. Adopting me means gaining a loyal friend who will bring joy and laughter into your home. I can't wait to meet you!Location: Oakville PetSmart, 2501 Hyde Park Gate
