Story
Finley – The Fearless Foodie Finley may be missing his back right leg, but someone forgot to tell him — he zooms, climbs, and explores with the confidence of a four-legged adventurer. After a tough start in life, his resilience shines through in every playful pounce and curious wiggle. Affectionate on his own terms, Finley isn’t a fan of being scooped up and carried like a baby, but he’ll happily sit beside you for cuddles, pets, and snacks. And speaking of snacks… Finley LOVES to eat. Mealtime might just be his favorite time of day, and he approaches treats with great enthusiasm and zero hesitation. Besides his love for food and adventure, Finley thrives around other cats. Having a feline friend brings out his happiest, most confident self, which is why he’ll need a kitty companion in his forever home. Charming, spirited, and endlessly entertaining, Finley is proof that a missing leg doesn’t slow a determined kitten down — it just gives him more reasons to keep moving forward.

Story
Lord Byron is a senior feline of considerable charm and sophistication - a true romantic at heart who craves the undivided attention of his human companions. He is an affectionate lap cat! And, despite his distinguished years, Lord Byron maintains a playful spirit - much like his namesake, delighting in spirited adventures around the home chasing after toys. Currently residing in a multi-pet household, he has proven himself adaptable, yet Lord Byron would flourish in a home where he reigns as the sole feline and pet in the home. Food-motivated and eager to please, Lord Byron responds enthusiastically to treats and mealtime rituals. Lord Byron has a regal floof of medium brown tabby fur. His birthday is estimated in 2015. If you seek a devoted, intellectually engaging companion who will shower you with affection, Lord Byron awaits his forever home! Our team is happy to discuss with approved applicants the possibility of a long-term foster placement for Willow as she is also eligible for our SENIOR TO SENIOR PROGRAM. In the program senior animals are connected with senior citizens in the community who are interested in caring for a pet. As a foster for Animal Advocates, all vetting costs, supplies and other support are provided by the rescue. All cats are up-to-date on age/weight appropriate vaccines, exams, FIV/FeLV tested (negative), flea treated, dewormed, spayed/neutered and microchipped. If not completed at the time of adoption, any remaining initial vetting will be covered by the rescue. Apply to adopt! Information located at animaladvocates.net

Mrs. J is the real deal and the moment she lays eye on you she'll have you wrapped around her little paw. She has lived with dogs and cats before and seems to prefer to be the only apple of your eye. Other animals make her uncomfortable. That's OK though because one look at her and she'll be the only cat for you. Mrs. J is looking for a quiet home that she can relax and be pampered in. Come meet Mrs. J today and see what all the fuss is about!

Story
Meet Kairi. She was rescued by a good Samaritan in Ambridge with her siblings but had to be separated from them due to her Felv+ status, which has been shown to be regressive in a recent qPCR. This means that her lifespan will not be shortened by the virus, and she will likely live a normal, healthy life as long as she remains stress-free. Since being in foster, Kairi has had to learn all about indoor life with humans for the first time. Despite being timid at first, she loves to be pet and will instantly purr and come out of hiding for a good pet session. She gains most of her confidence when there is a trusted human around who can give her endless love and playtime, and then she will start following and cuddling with you any chance she gets. She is still cautiously exploring her foster home but will roll around endlessly when she is comfortable. She has the sweetest face and meow that would melt anyone, and she would also do well with a gentle feline friend. Kairi would make the best loyal companion for someone who can give her the space and attention to continue to thrive indoors. She needs to be adopted into a home with another cat. Kairi’s qPCR came back as regressive, this means she is not currently contagious and is very unlikely to ever show symptoms of the virus—some cats even clear it completely over time. While there is a small chance it could reactivate under significant stress, regressive FeLV cats can live full, normal lifespans. For this reason, we recommend FeLV-only homes or homes with healthy, vaccinated cats. Kairi is around 8 months old, spayed, vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed, microchipped, and tested FIV negative and FeLV positive (regressive).
