Story
Meet Waffle! Waffle is a sleek and adorable little house panther with a curious spirit and an independent streak. She’s the kind of cat who likes to check everything out first—whether it’s a new toy, a cozy spot, or what you’re doing—before deciding how she wants to join in. Her quiet confidence and observant nature make her a really special companion. Waffle is litter box trained and does well with kids, making her a great addition to many types of homes. She tends to enjoy affection on her own terms and would thrive with a family that understands and respects her independent personality. Once she feels comfortable, she’ll happily keep you company and be part of your daily routine. She would do best in a home where she can settle in at her own pace and have a balance of space and attention. With a little patience, Waffle will show you just how sweet and wonderful she truly is. Adoption fee is $150 and includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, parasite prevention, and microchip. Apply to adopt at fullcirclerescueandsanctuary.com

Story
Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue Meow meet Max! Max is a 2 year old tuxedo boy with a fragile heart and a story that he carries quietly in his eyes. Not long ago, he had a family who loved him - but life changed in a way no one could have prepared for. When they lost their home and were forced to live out of their car, they made the most painful, selfless decision, they surrendered him to the rescue; hoping someone else could give him the safety they no longer could. Max doesn’t understand why his world disappeared. He doesn’t understand why the voices, the smells, the love he knew are all gone. All he knows is that everything feels unfamiliar now, and it’s left him scared and unsure. He moves gently through his days, watching, waiting, hoping it’s safe to trust again. Despite everything, he is incredibly sweet, there is a softness to him, a quiet longing to feel safe and loved again - but his heart needs time. He needs someone to see past the fear, who understands that behind these cautious eyes is a cat who just wants to belong again. During his neuter, it was discovered that Max is FIV+. He is currently healthy and can still live a long, happy life, but he may need a bit of extra veterinary care and a watchful eye over time. But what he needs most is compassion. He needs someone willing to open their heart to him, just as he will slowly learn to open his again. Though Max might not be a “first day” cat, he is definitely a “worth the wait” cat! The kind who will teach YOU that trust is built in quiet, moments, in gentle voices, in simply being there. Max still believes in love…he’s just quietly hoping someone will prove to him he didn’t lose it forever. Stop in, visit with Max and be his someone!  Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!  Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm.  All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Story
Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue Meow meet Anubis! He doesn’t understand why his world changed. At just 2 years old, this handsome black cat with glowing amber eyes found himself at a rescue - not because he did anything wrong, but because life changed for the people he loved. With his adorable crinkle ear and the most expressive face you’ve ever seen, he wears every feeling openly - curiosity, excitement, affection. His eyes seem to speak, quietly asking for love, for reassurance, for someone to choose him again. Anubis is sweet, friendly, and wonderfully talkative, always ready to greet you with a soft chirp or a full conversation about his day. He’s outgoing and affectionate, the kind of cat who wants to be near you, to share your space, your life. All he needs now is someone who won’t let him go again. A home where his voice is heard, his love is returned, and his bright amber eyes can finally rest knowing he is safe, forever! Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue Meow meet Boomerang, your new best friend! This handsome young black cat is a gentle soul with a heart full of love - he just needs a little time to show it. He can be shy and a bit cautious when first meeting new people or adjusting to a new environment, but with patience and a calm space, he truly shines! Once he feels comfortable, his personality comes out strong. He absolutely loves to be petted, enjoys being held, and will happily run around chasing toys and exploring new adventures. He’s playful, affectionate, and forms strong bonds with his people. Story
Meet Jackson, a handsome 9-month-old black, white, and gray tabby with a heart as bright as his coat. Jackson’s journey began when he was left on a rescuer’s porch while she was away, but that was the start of his second chance. Thanks to Critter Cavalry Rescue, this sweet boy is now healthy, vetted, and ready for his forever family. Jackson is a happy, playful kitten who loves everyone he meets. He gets along wonderfully with both cats and dogs and is always ready to join in on the fun. One of his favorite pastimes is watching the world outside from a sunny window—or curling up to enjoy a little TV time with his people. He’s also a big fan of the neighborhood kids who come over to play with him, greeting them with gentle excitement and purrs. Smart, social, and already litter box trained, Jackson is the total package. He’s at that perfect age—still full of kitten energy but old enough to have good manners. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will fill your home with joy, laughter, and cuddles, Jackson is your guy. To meet Jackson, email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.Your life will never be the same—and it will certainly be more fun-loving with Jackson by your side!March 7, 2026, 12:24 pm
