Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant. This beautiful kitty is Spitzie.  She was born in a shed close to a major street, no place for a kitty.  She was brought to RORR where she is learning to trust people and enjoy a more comfortable life than the streets.  She is still a bit skittish, but is coming along very well.  She loves to play with the other kitties in her foster home and posing for the camera to show off her bushy long tail.  Spitzie has been vetted and tested negative for Feleuk/FIV.Spitzie is being fostered in the Columbia, Md. area.  Fore more information please contact rorrfeline@gmail.com.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 2, 2023, 10:27 am

Story
NAME: Weebles BREED: DMH BIRTHDAY: 2007 ADOPTION FEE: $40   Weebles and his feline family were left in a bad situation when their human mom died. Their dad couldn't (or wouldn't) care for them, was being unkind to them, and was ready to take them to a shelter. At 14 years old and in rough shape, Weebles and his brother Yoda were unlikely to make it out. Luckily for everyone, a caring family member helped to rehome the cats: the younger ones were much easier of course, and we knew how hard it would be to find the senior boys a home where their medical needs would be addressed. So we rearranged things to make room for this handsome pair.   In foster care, Weebles has been a friendly and tolerant friend to the other cats and even seems fine with the dogs. He loves attention and cries for pets and scratches. He was a wonderful patient at the vet's office, despite the thorough exam and blood draws. We knew Weebles was having some issues with incontinence, and his weight was very concerning, but blood work didn't show anything that would point to a clear problem and solution. Our goal now is to keep Weebles as happy and comfortable as possible, and hope that a caring and understanding family will come for him soon. He may not have a lot of time left, but he will spend the rest of his days being a loving and handsome friend.   Weebles' brother Yoda is also available for adoption, but has more serious health concerns and will need a very experienced owner to care for him. Please contact us if you are interested in hearing more about Yoda, who is not bonded to his brother and does not need to go home with him.September 23, 2023, 6:59 pm
