CAGNEY AND HER SISTER LACEY WERE RESCUED THE LAST WEEK OF MARCH WHEN THEIR MOMMA STOP COMING BACK TO FEED THEM. THEY HAVE BEEN HAND RAISED AND BOTTLE FED, MAKING THEM VERY FRIENDLY AND A TRUE COMPANION PET.

Mittens is a friendly, sweet cat who was an awesome Mom to her 3 kittens. The babies have all been adopted and now its Mom's turn! Mittens is about 3 years old, spayed, and UTD on her shots. FELV/FIV negative. She is great with the litter box and uses only her scratching post.  She is polite with food and purrs Hello while pleasantly nudging your hand for some ear scratches. What is involved with fostering? We cover any veterinary care that may be needed, and you provide lots of love and attention. Each day so many cats and kittens are euthanized or left to fend for themselves outside. We get dozens of calls each week asking if we can help with stray cats and kittens so there are many more out there that need to be saved. We would like to help more of these poor kitties out there but need your help. How do our cats get adopted? Many cats are adopted through the postings on our website. We have our adoption center at the PetSmart in Whitehall which houses anywhere from 4- 9 cats at a time and another adoption center at Dogtown in New Britain. Foster homes can bring the cats or kittens to adoption days or other special events to promote adoptions. If you want to foster a specific cat or kitten or if you have a preference as to what you'd like to foster, we can help you find the right foster kitty. Without your help, we won't be able to help the many kitties out there that need our help!
