Domestic Mediumhair kittens & cats in Emmaus, Pennsylvania

Cupcake (AKA Cups, AKA Tubbs) is a 13yo rescue cat. At least two other previous owners before me, and it seems like she might have some trauma from her first owner. I took over caring for Cupcake when her previous owner had to re-home. Cupcake does not like other pets in the household and thrives best with either one or two adults and no other animals. That happened to describe me at the time, but I have moved in with my fiancee, who has two cats in the house. We have tried everything to get them to get along without success. Tubbs is a great cat for the right home. She mostly keeps to herself and isn't disruptive, doesn't knock things down or rip things up, pays little heed of toys, just lounges about the house while her humans are away at work. But at the end of the day she loves to cuddle up in a lap or behind your legs and stay with you for hours. She gets very affectionate around meal times. I'm hoping to find the right house for her to live out her remaining days.

Grey’s Angel Girl was surrendered to Critter Cavalry Rescue last November, rescued from a farm of many, many sick cats.  This 3 year old was one of the lucky ones.  Not terribly sick; nothing that a few different medications quickly cured.  Now inside, in the kitty room, Grey definitely felt “out-of-sorts” for the first few months.  She was difficult to even touch the first several weeks.  A lot of hissing and fussing, I knew she was just scared.  Slowly but surely, Grey came to realize she was in a safe spot.  All this lady needed was a little love and reassurance every day, that it was all okay.  “This soft bed is for me?  This cozy cubby is mine?”  It has been rewarding to watch her improve day after day.  Grey is about 90% there, and with a little extra TLC, she will reach 100% in no time. There is a sweetheart in there.  Do you secretly cheer for the under-dog?  Or under-cat, in this case?  She so wants her forever home!  To pass the time, Grey Girl plays well on her own and alone.  She likes to bat the ball on the triple tiered ball toy.  Or the feathered toy on the end of the wand.  Grey Girl enjoys playing with the one year old female in the kitty room.  They play tag up and down the cat tower.  It is short-lived, but at least she has learned to play with others.  She is friendly with the other cats in the kitty room, but I think Grey would blossom more if she is the only cat getting all the attention!  She has never known that, being “the only cat”.  Grey can barely contain herself when mom pulls out the rubber brush!  No matter where she is in the kitty room, she is next to me immediately.  She is soon a large lump of love.  You can brush her for hours, it seems.  It is great watching her roll over and relax.  Grey has mastered the art of napping.  Don’t we all wish we could nap like a cat?  Head scratches?  Grey cannot get enough of them.  And back scratches, too?  Show me more!  Can you embrace this lovely, diluted grey and tan tortie with those big green, beautiful eyes?  It is time for her to get selected.  It is time for her to find her forever home.  Are you here to save the day?  To save Grey?  Please email CCR at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you want to be her 'Saving Greyce'.  Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. Meet our beautiful grey tabby kitten called Princess Belle  This sweet girl weighs in at just 3 lbs o. 8/10 and is pure love. Despite a rough start of having been abandoned on near a busy highway, Princess Belle has blossomed into the ultimate snuggle companion and soft purr machine. She loves curling up in your lap, following you from room to room, and greeting you at the door with her sweet little personality. Belle is a social butterfly who would thrive in a home with other pets. She’s currently being fostered in a home alongside three large dogs and three adults cats.  She fits in a beautifully with everyone. Lillypad, Pollywog, and Minnow were found late one afternoon. Minnow was floating on a lilly pad on the edge of the Koi pond crying for help. His sister Lillypad ( Lilly for short) was on the edge of the pond soaking wet and Pollywog ran for the bushes as soon as we spotted them. If not for Minnows anguished cries, we are sure they would have suffered the same fate of drowning as their two siblings did.  Now thanks to a community effort by Critter Cavalry Rescue and these caring rescue ladies who are fostering them, there are3 little survivors who are  little miracles.  This little girl is called Pollywog ( Woggles for short lol) and you should see her dance with a feather. Skipping and hopping, pouncing and wriggling with wild abandon. She definitely is the clown of the litter and will be the joy of your heart. Prince Dandelion started his foster journey by climbing into the undercarriage of a Critter Cavalry volunteer's car and getting discovered there. He was just 5 weeks old at the time and now he is close to 17 weeks and now weighs 3.5 pounds and considered a handsome dilute orange tabby.  He has a perfect lion profile and a beautiful tawny coat. He reminded his foster moms of a Dandelion, so he became Prince Dandelion. He's just as sweet and unexpected as a wildflower and on so playful, and yet cuddly. He's the perfect combination fun and love.
