Good with cats,
Story
Hello, I'm Hermey! I'm a young gentleman, about a year and a half old, and I'd like to file a formal complaint; my people moved away and left me behind, with the door open! The nerve! I stayed put like any respectable cat would, guarding my home from whatever riffraff might wander in. Eventually, a nice ACO came along and called to me kindly and convinced me it was safe to come on out. I was a bit shy at first but, once I realized I was in good hands, my sweet side showed right up. Now, I am a total love and roll over for pets and I enjoy attention. I do love hanging out with my people! If you are seeing me for a second time, I recently came back to PAC, my family loved me and loves me but their allergies were just too much. Please adopt me so I can let them know I am alright!

Story
🖤 Meet Asher- a soul as gentle as his heart 🖤Ashen is a stunning panther estimated around 10 years old who is looking for a soft spot to land in his golden years. With an adorable white patch on his chest and thoughtful eyes, he is a affectionate and gentle boy who brings calm and clarity to those around him. Ashen enjoys the simple things in life like long catnaps, a full bowl of food, and love from his human. After too many years outside, Ashen just wants to relax and watch the birds and daily soap operas with someone special. Even at 10 years old, he enjoys some wand toys and catnip in his peaceful routine. Ashen is looking for a home where he can get lots of love and pet, living out his best life. He is currently eating a prescription kidney-support diet and doing well on it. He is hard of hearing, but that doesn't stop him from knowing the squirrels are russlin' outside his window. This friendly boy just wants love, a cozy bed and endless pets. He will need monitoring of some health concerns as part of his care, with a gentle thank you from him of soft purrs and wet nose boops. If you're ready to give this lovable senior a chance, please fill out an application today. ___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Apply here:  https://tenlivescatrescue.org/adoptionapp/Please Note:If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the drop-down menu of the application then they are no longer available for adoption and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed. About Ten Lives:Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.

Story
Daisy is the kind of cat who knows how to make herself right at home—and she’s happy to charm her way into your heart to get it. This big-hearted tabby is all about the love. Daisy is friendly, affectionate, and deeply people-oriented—the kind of cat who genuinely enjoys being held, happily soaks up attention, and melts under a good brushing session. (Bonus points if churro treats are involved.) Simply put, she’s not subtle about her favorite things. Daisy is also on a wellness glow-up journey and would love a human partner who’s excited to help her add a little more playtime and movement into her daily routine. Think gentle exercise, interactive toys, enrichment games, and plenty of encouragement—she’s motivated by praise, affection, and snacks (within reason 😉). While Daisy is confident in her charm, she can be sensitive to change. She’ll thrive in a calm home where she can settle in at her own pace and enjoy lots of one-on-one time. She’s happiest when she has her people all to herself, where she can soak up the spotlight and return that devotion tenfold. If you’re looking for a cat who wants to be close—really close—Daisy might just be your girl. She’s ready to be adored, brushed, cuddled, and cheered on every step of the way. Interested in Daisy? Please call us at 401.846.8276, stop by our Animal Care & Adoption Center in Middletown to meet her, or visit www.potterleague.org for more information about adopting.
