Story
This pretty kitty’s name is Sasha. She was originally a farm cat for a majority of her life, and has a clipped ear to show for it. She is spayed and in good health. Sasha is a senior kitty, very qualified for owners looking for a chill, laid back kitty. Her fur is extremely soft and shiny, it’s truly hard to believe she’s almost 14. She is nervous at first, may hide for the first couple days but with treats and patience she will stay by your side at all times. She is a very vocal kitty, she will talk back to you and follow you around, greet you at the door, and get in your face for pets. She’s not very cuddly and likes her space, but she will ask for attention all the time. Due to living costs, I know she can find a better life promised elsewhere. Her posted fee is 15$ and I don’t believe I could ever put a price on her. Any qualified, applicants will get a waived fee, I just want her to live out the rest of her life the way she deserves. Includes her medical papers and history.

Story
Meet Stone, a survivor with a heart of gold. Stone has spent much of his life fending for himself on the streets, and it shows. His ears are worn, his face bears the scars of old battles, and he no longer has any teeth. But if there’s one thing Stone’s past has taught him, it’s how much he appreciates kindness. These days, Stone has traded alleyways for soft beds and hard-earned independence for affection. He absolutely adores people and will happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. Behind his rugged exterior is a gentle, loving cat who simply wants a safe place to call home and someone to love him. Stone would do well with another older or generally calmer cat, or as your one and only pet. Stone may look a little rough around the edges, but his scars tell the story of a cat who never gave up. Now he’s looking for a family who can give him the happy ending he’s worked so hard to find.

Story
Meet Sappho, a quiet, gentle girl looking for a calm home where she can truly settle in. Sappho can be shy when meeting new people and may need a little patience while she adjusts to her surroundings, but once given the change to open up she will show you that she is quite the lap cat, who loves to purr and be around her people. Sappho may also prefer to be an only cat, so she can enjoy all the attention and a peaceful space to call her own. If you’re looking for a soft-hearted companion who will reward your patience with a cozy lap and cuddles, Sappho may be the perfect match. Weight: 11 lbs.Medical: Sappho was diagnosed with a bladder stone, which can cause signs such as straining to urinate, frequent urination, blood in the urine, or urinating outside the litter box. Bladder stones can form for a variety of reasons, and the identified stone was surgically removed prior to adoption. To help reduce the risk of recurrence, this cat has been started on a prescription urinary diet which a prescription will be sent home with you. With proper dietary management and monitoring, many cats with a history of bladder stones do very well long term. Beyond that Sappho appears to be overall a healthy cat, but it`s always a good idea to get them set up with their vet.Adoption Fee: $75 plus tax.

Story
Jesse is a handsome medium-haired black cat with a heart as big as his fluffy coat. After showing up as a stray, he has quickly proven that he loves people and is more than ready to leave his wandering days behind. This sweet boy is always happy to see his humans and has mastered the art of the affectionate head butt. If you’re sitting nearby, don’t be surprised when Jesse comes over to gently bump his head against you, asking for pets and reminding you that he’s available for attention.Jesse is very alert and observant, always keeping an eye on what’s happening around him. Whether he’s watching birds outside a window, supervising household activities, or investigating the sound of a treat bag opening, he likes to stay informed. While Jesse is incredibly friendly, being picked up is still a bit unfamiliar to him. He would much rather keep all four paws on the ground while enjoying pets and companionship. Given time and patience, he may continue building confidence, but he’s already a loving and devoted companion just as he is.And one thing Jesse knows for certain? Mealtime is serious business. This boy loves his food and never misses an opportunity for a good meal.If you’re looking for a friendly, affectionate cat who will greet you with head butts, keep you company, and appreciate every meal you provide, Jesse may be your perfect match. This cat attends adoption events at our Verona Adoption Center on Saturdays from 10am to 2:30pm and Sundays from 12pm to 3pm.READY TO ADOPT?
