Story
Cassie is a stunning dilute calico with soft, watercolor‑like markings and an even softer heart. After lovingly raising her kittens, she's officially retired from mom duties and is ready to enjoy a life that's finally all about her.Now settling beautifully into her foster home, Cassie is blossoming into a playful, affectionate companion. She loves gentle playtime, cozy naps, and leaning in for snuggles whenever she can. Her foster family says she's the perfect mix of spirited and sweet - curious enough to explore, but always happy to curl up beside you when the day winds down.Cassie does have a bit of a sensitive tummy, so she's on a special diet that keeps her feeling her best. With the right food, she stays comfortable, healthy, and full of energy. She is an indoors‑only girl and would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can continue to feel safe and cherished. Cassie is ready for her forever family - one that will give her the same love she gave her kittens. If you're looking for a tenderhearted, beautiful companion to brighten your home, Cassie is waiting with a purr and a hopeful heart. Story
Meet Moose, a handsome young black cat with a gentle, sensitive nature. He can be a bit of a shy guy at first, and because of that he may try to flee in unfamiliar situations until he feels safe and settled. Once Moose has time to adjust, his confidence begins to grow, especially in a calm, predictable environment. He would truly thrive in an indoor-only home with another friendly cat, as having a feline companion helps him feel more secure and less alone. With patience, careful transitions, and lots of reassurance, Moose will settle in and show his sweet, loyal side to the people who give him the time he needs. 🖤🐾 Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 3.6 Age: 1yrs 1mths 0wks

Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
George is an 11-year-old gentleman with very clear opinions-and a very soft heart once you learn the rhythm of it.He's managing hypothyroidism and some spinal bone spurs with pain control, and he does so with quiet dignity. He's not fragile, just a little seasoned. Think wise old soul rather than senior cat. George knows what he likes, and what he likes most is being near you, not necessarily on you.George isn't a lap cat-and he's honest about that-but he is the ultimate parallel play partner. He'll happily share your space while you read, work, or unwind, occasionally glancing over as if to say, "Yes. We are spending time together." His ideal bonding moment? You watching him absolutely demolish a catnip mouse, followed by a well-earned crunchy treat. Admiration encouraged.Affection is always on George's terms, and when you respect that, he rewards you with trust, calm companionship, and a steady presence that makes a house feel peaceful and lived-in. He's the kind of cat for someone who understands that love doesn't always demand attention-sometimes it just quietly exists beside you.If you're looking for a kind, low-key companion who values respect, routine, and shared space, George may be exactly who you've been waiting for. Not good with cats, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
We would like to introduce you to Terry. Or as he likes to be called "Terrific Terry from Thailand". This handsome guy was recently surrendered to our care by his owners. They had adopted Terry (as well as another kitty) back in 2021 through a rescue in Thailand. Recently, Terry had been exhibiting dominant behaviour toward the other cat in the house (with whom he had lived peacefully for his whole life.) His owners became concerned for the safety of the other cat (who is much smaller than Terry) and asked for help rehoming Terry. Terry is a lovely kitty. He is also a very strong and large-sized kitty. Terry loves to play and is VERY vocal. Terry has a voice like a Siamese cat. But he has a MUCH larger frame than what we normally think of as a Siamese cat. Despite his "tough guy" persona, Terry is also an absolute love who lies on his back for belly rubs! in his previous home here in Canada, Terry did have access to a large secure catio space. In his current foster home, he is contained as an indoor cat. Terry clearly would like to go back outside - but his foster doesn't have a secure outdoor space for him. The PURRfect home for Terry would be as a single pet. Terry says that you wouldn't need any other pets, once you see how great he is. Given his size and strength, we would recommend that Terry be placed in an adult only home, or with cat-savvy older children. Terry is up to date on his vaccines (FVRCP and Rabies), has been treated for fleas and parasites, and tested for FIV / FeLV (negative results). If you would like to learn more about Terry or make an appointment to meet him, please reach out to us - info@catsofsaltspring.com / 236-508-2287 Terry CAN'T WAIT to meet you!
