Story
Addison is in search of her purrfect forever home. She is the sweetest girl but she can be a little shy in new situations. Addison will need adopters that can be patient and can give her time and space for her to feel safe. Once she is comfortable with her people, she is very cuddly and loves to be by right your side. Loud noises can scare her, so we think a calm household would be best. She also loves other cats and would thrive in a house with another cat. She had learned to trust her humans by watching what other cats do. Do you think you could be Addison's person? Here's how!Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.Friendly tip: If you're looking for a surefire way to make your application to stand out, consider telling us a little bit about yourself in the "anything else you'd like us to know?" section! What brought you to adopt? Have you had any previous pets? What makes you the perfect match for this animal? Write as little or as much as you'd like! Story
Hi! I'm Merlot! I was found all by myself at a winery in Richmond, when I was just little, and the nice lady brought me to the BCSPCA. I wasn't feeling very good when I got here. I had a kitten cold and a sore tummy, but the nice people here got me to the doctor and gave me some medicine to help me feel better. My nose is still a bit stuffy but I'm feeling much better now! While I was getting over my cold a really weird bump happened in my neck. The doctor said it was a blocked salivary gland and, even though I had it drained, it might happen again so my new pawrent needs to pay attention to that, and be prepared for possible ongoing visits to the doctor.I would love to go home to a kitty sibling around my age because boy do I LOVE TO PLAY! I love wand toys and little mice, but I'm still learning that hands are not kitten toys. I hope my new pawrent knows a lot about kitties too!Do you think you could be Merlot's person?
