Story
Moxie is such a brave little girl. She spent some time in foster but she just wasn't thriving. Then we got hit with the news...Moxie had FIP! We took the opportunity to jump on the FIP Warriors 5.0 site to learn more about a new treatment that was saving hundreds of lives. After a successful fundraiser, Moxie had her first treatment. As I'm writing this she is on day 48 of an 84 day regimen and her bloodwork is amazing. She shows no sign of having it!! Fingers crossed !!!6/30/2023Moxie is very social. Remember she is now blind so home adjustments may be needed. Please fill out our adoption application by opening this link: https://surfcatcafe.org/adoption-application/

Story
Hi I’m Jordy. I was born the first week of April in 2022. My mom was Feral and I was very scared when they brought me here. But little by little I’ve been gaining confidence and now I am more and more trusting of humans. I love to play sleep eat and watch birds out the window of my catio. I would very much like to have a friend in my new home. I’ve made such good friends here at Surfcat but if you have a friendly kitty at your home I think it would be OK because I make friends fast. Please fill out our adoption application by opening this link: https://surfcatcafe.org/adoption-application/

Story
Hi there my name is Lacy Mae. I used to live in a big colony in San Bernardino. Apparently softly, but sometimes it gets loud. I guess when I got to Surfcat the people at the shelter had said I was just a baby kitten around 10 weeks old but I’m not. I’m a mature woman. I love to be brushed gently and I love love love to be with my human just being loved on and laying near them, so we can all relax and be happy. I’m good with cat friendly dogs and cats and well trained young children. 😳 I don’t think I would mind being the only kitty, but I think it will be nice to have a friend. I'm just so cute. My new friend Picasso is amazing. We will be adopted as a bonded pairPlease fill out our adoption application by opening this link: https://surfcatcafe.org/adoption-application/

Story
I was at the Camarillo shelter but Cassie’s Cats had room for me so now I get to live in their lounge. I hope my new person will find me here soon so I can get back to lounging on the sofa and sleeping with my person. I like to cuddle in laps and purr. I also like to be brushed. Please come meet me! Princess was surrendered to VCAS after her owner passed away and is an extremely affectionate kitty. Princess had corrective surgery for entropion – a condition where a cat’s eyelids roll inward and cause irritation. Thanks to the amazing work of the VCAS vet’s office, Princess’s eyes are now pain free and will continue to clear up! We had a full vet exam done including blood work and Princess is in good health. She had a dental cleaning on February 17th that included 3 tooth extractions. She healed well from that. She seems to do best with cats who can live and let live. She hisses at cats who get right into her space but does great living in parallel with other mellow cats. Since coming to Cassie’s Cats Princess has been receiving monthly Solensia injections at our vet’s office to help with arthritis pain. Any future adopter will need to be able and willing to continue these as needed for Princess’ well-being and we will add that as an addendum to her adoption agreement. Princess can sometimes be picky about her food and her adopter should be willing to keep a few wet foods on hand so that she always has something that appeals to her. Her adopter will also need to be willing to sit with Princess while she eats if that is what she needs. Sometimes she eats better when she has company. Our ideal adopter for her is someone who will let Princess lead the way – cuddle when she wants it, leave her be when she wants her space, feed her the foods she prefers, change up the food when necessary, take her to the vet for her monthly arthritis relief.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Placido can be a shy and quiet boy when he's in an unfamiliar place like the adoption, however in his foster home, Placido has become a super sweet boy with a big purr always ready. One of his favorite activities is wrestling with his brothers, and at just under a year old, the three of them have become typical, mischievous, "teenager" kitties, and are so much fun to watch and play with. Placido will follow around the resident cats in his foster home, demanding they snuggle with him, and if he wakes up alone will set out to find a friend while crying and calling out to them. If one of his favorite kitties happens to be in a lap, Placido will jump right up and snuggle in for a petting session of his own. It will take some time for Placido to adjust to a new home, but with patience and persistence he will be a wonderful addition to any family. Unless you have a friendly and cuddly kitty companion at home already for Placido, he will do best adopted with another kitty. If you'd like to meet Placido or any of our adoptable kittens, please submit an application today! _______________________________________________ All CCR cats and kittens receive their vaccinations, a microchip registered to the new owner, collar & tag, starter bag of food, and their sterilization. In addition, we test for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).  All of our animals are 8 weeks or older when they are shown for adoptions, all of our felines must be spayed /neutered before we place them in new homes and they must be 8 weeks old and 2 pounds to have their surgeries.  If you have any questions, please email CatsCradleRescueCA@gmail.com.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Cats Cradle Rescue animals are spayed or neutered and have received at least one vaccination before they are placed up for adoption; however, kittens receive two vaccinations.  Each animal lives in a foster home as part of the family. Story
I’m a big, active, energetic young guy who is looking for a home that can play with me and love me unconditionally! I wear a harness just fine and might be an excellent candidate for learning to be an adventure cat. While I need to be an indoor cat I would probably absolutely love a sturdy catio! At first, I was having a hard time making friends at the lounge because I come on very strong but with time I’ve made some good friends here! My closest friends are Sassy and Noah, and I’m learning to get along with almost everyone. It took about 4 months for me to really get close with my buddies here. I especially love my friend Noah and want to be adopted with him. I do best when cats are younger than me and act like they want to play with me. I don’t get along with cats who are older or act like they don’t like me – then I try to chase them and not in a playful way. I haven’t made friends with any female cats so far. I might do ok with the right puppy or dog but the volunteers here aren’t 100% sure on that. (I lived with an elderly dog in my first home.) I am super affectionate and love having human attention. NOTE: Dotty will need an understanding adopter. He may not be good around young children and definitely needs an active and conscientious home. Leave a window or screen door open and he’ll get through the screen if he thinks he needs to be out with you. He will be upset if he sees other cats prowling around his home outside. He can jump straight up 6 feet! He’s strong, athletic, and just wants to be where the action is. He’s also one of the most loving cats of people that we have at the lounge. He adores attention and is a total lap cat. In the right home, he is going to be an amazing companion!!! We would strongly prefer that he be adopted together with Noah based on the friendship we’ve watched them develop over the last 5-6 months.
