At 9yrs old he found himself wandering the streets of Bridgeport. His microchip told the story of being a California kitty who bounced around quite a bit due to moves & owner illnesses & a death. The strikingly handsome senior is already adjusting to the shelter quite well & showing interest in the other nice kitties in his room. Stephen King is microchipped, vaccinated, neutered & had bloodwork within normal limits upon intake - could this sweet senior be the new furry family member for you?

*** For Information about Adopting or Meeting our Cats, 1) Click Here to Submit an Application 2) Be Approved 3) Make an Appointment *** Georgette was brought to one of our rescue partners by good samaritans who already had cats & they were less than welcoming to sweet Georgette. Because this super affectionate little lady was found to be positive for feline leukemia during the intake process at PAWS she should go to an experienced adopter without other cats in the home (unless also leukemia positive) & a meet and greet with Georgette comes with a free consultation with our medical staff on the ins and outs of FeLV. We have paired Georgette with another leukemia positive kitty Cloudy & they have become quite bonded so they must go home together. Georgette is microchipped, vaccinated, spayed & ready for her furever home!

*** For Information about Adopting or Meeting our Cats, 1) Click Here to Submit an Application 2) Be Approved 3) Make an Appointment *** Fred and his brother Bam Bam were trapped as ferals @ 3 months old with their mother. Through the patient efforts of their foster they have become pretty well socialized now @ 5 1/2 months old. The little orange tabby Fred is a bit more outgoing than Bam Bam the brown tabby who takes a but longer to warm up. Because of this dynamic they must be adopted TOGETHER despite nearing the age of 6 months when we would typically adopt kittens out on their own. These brothers are a truly bonded pair. Fred & Bam Bam are microchipped, vaccinated, neutered & ready for their furever home TOGETHER!

Story
*** For Information about Adopting or Meeting our Cats, 1) Click Here to Submit an Application 2) Be Approved 3) Make an Appointment *** Sweet little tabby & white Snickers Pie found her way to the barn of a PAWS affiliate. This young kitty proved to be far too affectionate with people to be a barn cat so she came into the shelter to find a home. Snickers Pie went home for just the weekend with an adopter who had initially been looking for an adult cat & returned her for being "too active". I can assure you that her activity level is completely normal for a 7 month old kitten & there's a 4 year old in the same room as her that is more rambunctious. Snickers Pie is microchipped, vaccinated, spayed & ready for her furever home!
