Story
Hi, my name is Munchkin and I'm about 19 months old. I was rescued from Bond County Animal Control by Bond County Humane Society along with my 3 sisters when we were about 12 days old. We were bottle-fed by our foster mom until we could eat on our own.  We were in the foster home until we were about 9 1/2 months old. We enjoyed playing with each other.  My foster mom says I loved playing with the broom.   I would carry my small toys around in my mouth.  I am slow to warm up to people.  I don't do well in strange places.  I was recently diagnosed with a condition called enteric coronavirus that affects the GI system.  There is no treatment for the condition, but it is possible that I will recover from the condition.  We just don't know how long it could take.  It can be passed on to other cats so I need to be the only cat in the house.  My litter mate, Rose, has also been diagnosed with the same condition. I also tend to form crystals in my urine, so I am on a special diet for urinary health. I am available for immediate adoption.  I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is waived.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at  www.bondcohumane.org .  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request. Story
Hi, my name is Tiger and I'm about 10 months old. I was found with my mother and sister behind a barn at a farm and brought to Bond County Humane Society so we could find loving fur-ever homes. We have been living in a foster home. My foster dad says I am friendly,  playful and quiet. I won't bother you for anything! I am still learning to play with people, so I can get a little rough. I should not live with any small children. I'm kind of an arms-length, hang out with ya type. I like to nap nearby. I like to be picked up and petted, for a few minutes at a time; then I start purring really loud. Five or 10 minutes later I'm ready to try that again. I get kinda nervous sitting in your lap, but we're working on that. I love "Irresistables" cat treats; if you need to bribe me, these will do it...rattle that bag and I'm on it! I love to run and chase or wrestle with my sister Meg or foster brothers. I also love to climb on cat trees.  I am available for immediate adoption.  I am neutered, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  Cat Adoption Special, 6-12 months old : $50.   f you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at  www.bondcohumane.org .  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request.March 1, 2024, 5:06 pm

Story
Hi, my name is Jossie and I'm almost 9 years old.  Me and my litter mates were surrendered to Bond County Humane Society for adoption because the people we lived with did not want us.  I am sociable and playful.  Before I came to live at BCHS I lived in a garage but I was well socialized with people and played with an 8 year old child.  I don't have any experience with dogs.  I like to play with toys, string, boxes or pretty much anything.  In 2017 I was diagnosed with IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease).  In my case it affects my stomach, not my intestines.  Because my stomach is involved it causes me to have chronic vomiting.  My care for this condition includes food and medication.  In my case the food I tolerate best has fish as the protein, not any meat.  The other part of my care is supplemental injections under the skin of  B-12.  This is needed because my body is unable to absorb this vitamin.   I have done well on the maintenance program described.  I have been able to maintain a healthy weight.  I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and microchipped. My adoption fee is waived. If you are interested in adopting me please complete an adoption profile in person or on-line at www.bondcohumane.org.  Email the completed profile to the address provided.    A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds or returns is available upon request. March 1, 2024, 5:06 pm

Story
Hi, my name is Rum and I'm about 10 months old. My siblings and I were born at Bond County Humane Society's shelter after our mom was rescued as a pregnant stray. I like to run and play with my siblings. I especially like to play with toys with feathers. I like to be held and petted for a while, then I want to go back to playing. I am considered special needs because I am on prescription food for intestinal issues.  I am available for immediate adoption.  I am neutered, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is waived.   If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at  www.bondcohumane.org .  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request.March 1, 2024, 5:06 pm

Story
Hi, my name is Jaguar and I'm about 20 months old.  I was surrendered to Bond County Humane Society by a man who said I just showed up in his yard.  I am friendly and super playful.  The best way to describe me is rambunctious.  I like to be on the go playing and exploring.  I need a family that likes active cats and has enrichment toys, cat trees or anything that will keep me active.  I do have a tendency to form crystals in my urine so I am on a special diet that will reduce the chance of crystals.  I am available for immediate adoption.  I am neutered, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is by donation.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at  www.bondcohumane.org .  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request. Story
Hi, my name is Chloe and I'm about 23 months old. My owners surrendered me and my siblings to Bond County Humane Society because they had too many cats and they wanted me to find a loving furever home.  I can be very loving and playful with the foster family where I lived, but I am shy about meeting new people. I would be best with older kids. I love my cat tree and I enjoy looking out the window. I do not like having my nails clipped or being restrained for any purpose. After several months in a foster home, now I live in the shelter.
