Frisky is a shy boy who is intimidated by the shelter. His owner passed away and he is pretty sad about his change in environment. We will be taking our time letting him know he is still very much loved. He seems to prefer low hiding spaces. The adoption fee is $125 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.   Please note, we do NOT allow declawing of any cat or kitten that we adopt out, unless deemed medically necessary.  We will gladly provide you with alternative methods of managing cats with claws.  We're open from 12-4 PM every day EXCEPT Wednesday! Meet Persephone and Styx! This beautiful, bonded pair of 6-year-old cats has quite the story to tell. Once rescued from a high-kill shelter, these two were adopted out together as kittens, only to find their way back to us when their owner could no longer care for them. After some time with us, they’ve slowly begun to open up, finding comfort with a select group of people here. While they may never be lap cats, Persephone and Styx have shown they’re happiest observing life’s moments from a safe distance. That said, who knows what the future holds for this special duo? Mira is a lovely 6-year-old girl who experienced unhappiness in her home following her declaw procedure. We are currently focusing on pain management and helping her feel secure. We have identified an effective medication for her, and her spirited personality is beginning to emerge. We are teaching her she does not need to stay grumpy anymore. She will require pain medication for the rest of her life. Uno is a beautiful 8monthold kitten, with the cutest toe beans, who has preferred the comfort of her favorite hiding spot since arriving at the rescue. She has recently started exporing while the shelter is quiet and has shown interest in playing with some of her favorite volunteers. Meet Marty! This handsome 2-year-old orange tabby is still getting his bearings at the shelter, and we’re giving him all the time he needs. Marty’s a little shy right now, but we’ve seen him start to explore with quiet curiosity, each step a brave little adventure. We’re hopeful that as he settles in, we’ll get to see more of his playful side and learn what makes him purr. For now, we’re just enjoying the gentle moments and letting Marty know he’s safe and loved. Marty has been diagnosed with stomatitis and is under observation. He may require the removal of some teeth on down the road. Meet CocaCola, a big, handsome guy! Coca-Cola is a gentle 4yearold who starts out a little shy, but once he feels safe, he’s an absolute sweetheart. He’s currently thriving in a calm foster home where his biggest daily decision is choosing the perfect nap spot. A lowstress environment has been exactly what he needed. Our open cattery life was overwhelming for him and led to some urinary issues, but with a quieter home, careful monitoring, and lots of love, Coca-Cola is doing wonderfully. Now that he’s feeling like his best self again, he’s officially ready to find his forever family.
