Story
Tobi is 5 years old and is needing a quiet home where he can sun-bathe and lounge on the couch. He is a quality time cat and not a physical touch cat. Although he enjoys pets on the head, chin, and back, less is more. He is shy to new people and takes time to warm up but once he has, he will sleep close to you on the bed or couch. Tobi is food motivated and will sit and high-five for a yummy treat.

Story
This is Opal and she is the sweetest, most playful little baby! There was a “Hoarder House” in my friends neighborhood that had over 40 cats evacuated and 4 of them were kittens. My friend works in rescue and asked if I wanted to foster the kittens while we worked on rehoming them, so I’ve been fostering them for about two months now and feel they are ready for their new homes! Two of them have already been adopted because they are seriously the most purrfect little babes. They are up to date on all of their shots, very healthy and happy! They interact well with my two large dogs, my 8 year old cat, and my younger nephews! They are fully potty trained and free to a good, loving home ❤️

Story
Everyone meet Miss Ollie!  This beautiful 11 year old Queen has the cutest meow you've ever heard and when she loves you, she REALLY loves you! This little fluff lost her only home, due to a family member being severely allergic sadly. Give her time and patience to trust and she'll give you companionship and purrs. She is an older cat with just enough sass still left inside! When you bond with her, she will always meow for your attention and always be at your side. She doesn't mind dogs but doesn't love them when they are in her space. No other cats please this little diva requests. She does prefer men and would prefer to be the only animal in the house with no kids, so she can be the queen and have all the attention. If you go to the restroom or need to shower, make sure you leave the door open or Ollie will break it down to get to her human! Once she warms up and decides she loves you, you are all hers! She will be super cuddly with the right owners and she only deserves the best. As every queen deserves! Give Miss Ollie the loving home she deserves in her senior years by applying today at www.havenanimalrescuenebraska.org. Miss Ollie is up to date with vaccinations and is spayed. DONATION ADOPTION FEE $75. PLEASE SUBMIT AN APPLICATION AT: https://havenanimalrescuenebraska.org/adoption-application We do not have a facility. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals. We are a state licensed, 501c3 nonprofit rescue and the adoption donation may be tax deductible for you.  Thank you for choosing adoption!! May 3, 2024, 10:09 pm

Story
His name is June. He was born on Mothers Day in 2020. He will be 4 on May 10th. He came from a litter in my family. He has all his claws. He does not get along with grown male cats. I believe he could get along with a female cat and kittens. He is a good loving cat. Loves attention and to play. Loves sleeping with you at night and will always be by your side. He is scared of younger children so he tends to keep his distance. He is very antisocial to strangers. He is not a mean cat by any means. I just want him to live a more free and happy life than I can provide him.

Story
Tippy is a super sweet 9 year old senior! She loves to cuddle and be pet. She is a bit shy at first but will turn into your bff once you pet and spend a few minutes with her. Tippy always joins us when we break out the wet food and loves her treats. This girly is friendly to other cats and loves her human friends! Tippy would love a relaxed forever home where she can have a person to bond and feel safe with!   Kittens or cats CANNOT be declawed. We will gladly provide you with alternatives to this procedure.  Kittens do better with another kitten to play with.  This gives you a break and give them company when you’re not home. The adoption fee is $125 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. The adoption fee helps cover the cost of these vetting procedures. If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry or email to tchspapillion@gmail.com. They will determine if you and/or your family are a fit and if so, provide instructions for completing the application.    After you have submitted an application and been approved, we will setup a “meet and greet” between you and the pet. Applications are reviewed in order of receipt.  Please be sure to follow us on Facebook to learn more about Town and Country Humane Society and our mission. ##1838439##

Story
Presto change-O! Presto is a silky domestic short hair solid black cat with green eyes. He is very curious and is ready to help with whatever activity you are doing. Originally, he was surrendered to us along with his girlfriend, when their owner moved to hospice.  They were declawed indoor only cats and were happy to be adopted together. After a time they were returned when they decided their bond was broken and wouldn't stop bickering. Now they get along with all other cats but each other. Presto is outgoing and must know what everyone is doing! He loves to chat and seeks attention from anyone who gets close. He is a love who would be a wonderful addition to almost any home.  The adoption fee is $125 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. Applications are typically worked in time stamp order based on date/time of submission.  If you have other cats in your home, they must all be up to date and spayed/neutered prior to application submission.  Please note, we do NOT allow declawing of any cat or kitten that we adopt out.  But we will coach you on alternative methods of managing cats with claws.   *****We are currently operating by appointment only.  If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry or email to tchspapillion@gmail.com. Story
Ralph is a great cat. He is snuggly and playful when he gets comfortable, but he is a scaredy cat that will need time to adjust. We're having trouble with him peeing on the dog beds and any laundry left on the floor and our attempts to get this behavior to stop hasn't worked, so we are looking to re-home him. Maybe someone with more experience or fewer cats can correct this.

Oscar is such a sweet boy. He loves to cuddle and rub his face on yours. He enjoys laying on the back of the couch and resting his legs over your shoulder. I love him so much. I need for him to have a good home. I can't keep him because my grandson is extremely allergic. I know he will make a great addition to your family.

Story
My son found them as kittens outside his father's shop. They are sisters and a little smaller than regular sized cats. He took them for a year and a half. He had to move and now I have them but my cats are not used to them. They are the sweetest cats I have ever met. They would never consider biting or scratching me. I really want them to stay together. They have been alone alot and counted on eachother for companionship. They are dainty, very clean and nice.
