Meet Persephone and Styx! This beautiful, bonded pair of 6-year-old cats has quite the story to tell. Once rescued from a high-kill shelter, these two were adopted out together as kittens, only to find their way back to us when their owner could no longer care for them. After some time with us, they’ve slowly begun to open up, finding comfort with a select group of people here. While they may never be lap cats, Persephone and Styx have shown they’re happiest observing life’s moments from a safe distance. That said, who knows what the future holds for this special duo?
