Roya is 6 years old. We adopted her from CLT Humane Society a few years ago but now have two children and she has not done well with all the change. She’s extremely cuddly (will sleep with you) and sweet and I have never seen her be aggressive. She loves to play fetch and go outside on the porch.

Garfield's Story ❤️ Garfield is proof that every cat deserves a chance. For more than a year, this handsome orange boy was lovingly cared for by compassionate neighbors as a community cat. When Friends of Feral Felines brought him in through our TNVR program, everyone hoped he'd simply return to his outdoor home. But sometime later, Garfield wasn't looking quite right, so he was brought back for a veterinary exam. That's when he tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). Instead of sending him back outside, Garfield was welcomed into foster care—where he quickly showed everyone what a truly special cat he is. Garfield is incredibly affectionate and has the sweetest personality. He adores gentle head rubs, comes running when you call his name (especially if tuna is involved!), and happily makes the most adorable biscuits on soft blankets. He's the kind of cat who simply wants to love and be loved. The good news is that veterinary experts agree that FeLV-positive cats can enjoy happy, fulfilling lives and deserve loving homes. Garfield would thrive as an only cat, with other FeLV-positive cats, or with FeLV-negative cats that are appropriately vaccinated after discussing the risks with your veterinarian. Like all FeLV-positive cats, he should live indoors and receive routine veterinary care. Garfield has already overcome so much. Now all he needs is someone willing to see beyond his diagnosis and recognize the wonderful companion he truly is.
