She is very sweet and loves to get affection from humans. She seems to get along with other cats since her babies are gone, and she's afraid of dogs but doesn't attack them. Munchos is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all of her vaccinations, and tested negative for both Feline Leukemia and FIV. Meet Mama Mayo! Mayo came in with 5 beautiful babies. She raised them and they are now waiting for their forever homes with other kittens their age in our kitten play room. In the meantime, Mama Mayo has been living the best post-mom life she can here in the shelter. Mayo is a super sweet kitty, and loves to rub all over your feet when you are walking. She will chase toys when given the chance, but also loves to chill out and soak up some sun rays. Mama Mayo will be a wonderful cat for any family. She gets along with other cats here at the shelter and although she seems afraid of dogs, she doesn't try to attack them, so we think she could live with a dog that would mostly leave her alone. Mayo is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations, and tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV. Kuzko can be a bit shy at first, but when he knows you are nice he will let you know he loves you back! He's a very laid back and chill kitty. Kuzko is a senior cat, so his adoption price is reduced. Meet Pine and Prancer! Pine and her son, Prancer, can be seen either chasing each other around their kennel, wrestling and pouncing on each other, or laying in a snuggle pile grooming each other. They have become very bonded while in the shelter and since they are both FIV+, we are adopting them as a bonded pair. You will never get tired of their antics. They are fun to watch as they play, and adorably sweet when they are cuddling together. Kitties with FIV can live long and happy lives! We recommend that they either be the only cat in the home, live with other FIV+ cats, OR live with other friendly cats where the chance of fighting is low. FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds, and proper introduction between a FIV+ and non-FIV cat can prevent fighting. Due to their FIV status, Pine and Prancer need to be a strictly indoor kitties. Pine is spayed, Prancer is neutered, and both of them are microchipped and up to date on their vaccines. Meet Padme! Padme came to us with babies, and was one of our best foster mama kitties last year. She was an outside cat in her past life, and we think she’d probably love to be an indoor/outdoor mouser once she gets used to her new home. Padme gives the best head butts, and has learned that humans can give her so much love! She loves to be pet and will wrap herself around your legs to get your attention. Padme is our longest resident cat (intake date 7-22-2023), and would be a really great pet if she could just get someone to come in and get her!
