She is a very friendly kitty with humans but she does NOT get along well with small animals. she loves food but is not into playing with toys. she would rather snuggle up and fall asleep. we have lots of cat items to give with her. plenty of food, wet and dry, litter box, litter genie, a nice food bowl, some toys!

Pickle and her sister, Pea, were transferred to ARF from another shelter facility at the start of March 2024. She is very playful and loves playing with wand toys. She is curious and enjoys exploring. She is also very entertaining to watch when she gets the "zoomies"! She has been introduced to a couple of other cats here at the shelter and she seemed to get along with them. Pickle is rather outgoing and while her sister, Pea, is quiet and reserved, Pickle and her sister do play together. We would like to see them adopted together. Stop by to meet Pickle and Pea during our open hours. The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. Pea and her sister, Pickle, were transferred to ARF from another shelter facility at the start of March 2024. Pea is rather cautious and reserved. When there is a lot of shelter activity taking place around her, she tends to remain in the back of her cage. She does come out of her cage to sit on the windowsill to peer out of the window, so long as she can do so at her own pace. Although Pea has not shown any interest in toys, she does play with her sister, Pickle. We would like to see them adopted together. We think that Pea will blossom once out of the shelter and settled in a home. Stop by to meet sweet Pea and her sister, Pickle. The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. "House panther" alert! Boo is a 4 year old Domestic Shorthair with green eyes. He arrived mid-March 2024. He was brought to our attention by a local school. Did you know that there is a legend of black cats that has been shared over the decades among sailors? Sailors believed black cats would bring them good health on their journey on the sea. Boo is hoping to "sail" out of here into the loving arms of an adopter. Please stop by the shelter to meet him. Draco was surrendered for adoption in mid-March 2024. Upon intake, he needed treatment for ear mites. He was also treated for nasal discharge connected to a bacterial infection. He is now ready for a forever home. Draco is the Latin word for dragon and if you look through his photos, you'll see the silly photo of him showing off his fangs just as a dragon would! He is a curious guy and he enjoys playing with wand toys. However, he is not a fan of dogs and therefore needs a home without any canine residents. If you are interested in meeting this handsome green-eyed 2 year with some of the longest whiskers, please come by the shelter to meet him.
