Story
Wynona is a sweet girl -- in foster care she has been found to be friendly and enjoys pets, though just a little shy at first -- she does warm up fairly quickly. She has a French manicure on her front toes with her white tips -- such a pretty girl! She gets along well with others and just minds her own business with other cats. She is estimated to be around 2 years old and has a $100 adoption fee. All cats adopted through our rescue are age appropriately vaccinated including rabies & FVRCP/Feline Leukemia vaccines, dewormed & free of fleas, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoptions are finalized. If you would like to adopt, please fill out the application through the link or the website at -www.whiskersofohio.org - please note that the "I'm interested" tab on Petfinder does NOT act as an application, this should only be used for specific questions before committing to an adoption. You will receive an email confirmation when your application goes through. We make no breed guarantees, we are a rescue, not a breeder. Please only apply for a specific kitten if you are committed to adopting! Our workers are all volunteers and it takes time to process applications. We are a registered 501c3 non-profit organization, with ZERO paid workers or admins.

Story
Sweet Figgy was found near Columbus, a friendly stray, and found her way to our rescue for help finding a forever home. She is a torbie girl (tabby+some orange coloring) and just a little shy at first but definitely warms up quickly once comfortable -- she is the ultimate lap cat, all purrs and sweetness. Loves nothing more than a lap and some love:) She has been around other cats and dogs without issue but acclimation is always recommended for long term homes. She is playful and fun, and can't wait to have a home of her own! She is estimated to be 1-2 years old, and has a $100 adoption fee. All cats adopted through our rescue are age appropriately vaccinated including rabies & FVRCP/Feline Leukemia vaccines, dewormed & free of fleas, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoptions are finalized. Story
Piper was found as a friendly stray. She is a sweet girl who loves car rides and human attention. She would do best in a household with cats who are not overly dominant, as she is able to get along with other cats who are not assertive. She is estimated to be about 2 years old and has a $100 adoption fee. All cats adopted through our rescue are age appropriately vaccinated including rabies & FVRCP/Feline Leukemia vaccines, dewormed & free of fleas, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoptions are finalized. If the box is not open he will find a way to open the box. Story
White Dot’s life started out hard, as a stray kitten living in a shed with his sisters. Four weeks into his life, tragedy struck when wild animals got into the shed, and he and his sisters were separated from their mom. We humans took them in and have found homes for his sisters, and now, it’s White Dot’s turn! White Dot is approx. 12 weeks as of 7-21 and is incredibly playful with great claw control. He loves to bat at things! He also likes to use his voice, but I’m assuming he will be quieter post-neuter. While he has not yet been neutered (us humans are broke), we have kept him up to date with his shots. Any donation to help with those expenses would be great, but honestly, we’re just trying to find the best home for him. He would do best in an environment with a lot of stimulation, with kids and/or other cats to play with. We love him but our resources are tapped out. Bring this kitty home today!
