Story
Hi, I’m Cookie—a two-year-old cuddle bug with a heart full of love and a belly that’s always ready for a nap (or a treat). I didn’t have the easiest start to life—street life was rough, and I’ve got the battle scars to prove it—but those days are behind me now. Thanks to my amazing foster mom, I’ve learned that people can be kind, laps are cozy, and catnip mice are very fun to toss around. Snuggles? I'm obsessed. If you’re looking for personal space… sorry, I’m not your guy. I’ll be tucked into your arms, smothering you with kisses and love like it’s my full-time job. I might be a little shy at first (who wouldn’t be, after all I’ve been through?), but give me a little time, some yummy treats, and gentle words, and I’ll be your most loyal, affectionate shadow. I’ve got a soft spot for calm, kind humans, especially the ones who let me soak up all the love. I’d be happiest as your one-and-only, but I could maybe vibe with a chill, submissive kitty friend. As for dogs? Eh, I think I’d rather not. I’m a grateful little guy who’s been through a lot, and now I’m just looking for a safe, loving home to call mine forever. Think you’ve got room in your heart (and lap) for me? Cookie has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for parasites, and health-checked by our veterinary partners. He tested Negative for FIV/FELV in June 2024 (before his initial release) and is scheduled to be re-tested in late March to confirm his negative status. The adoption fee is $250. If you have room in your heart and your home for Cookie, please apply at www.heartstohomes.ca/cat-adoption.

Meet Sage! Sage is just over a year-old now. He is a bundle of love with the softest fur and the sweetest purr. This charming feline loves sunbathing by the window, gentle head scratches and following you around to help with your daily tasks. He is mellow, affectionate, and currently thrives in his foster home with 2 medium sized dogs and other cats. He doesn’t mind being picked up and carried and takes lots of kisses on his face and tummy! He will be a bit shy at first in a new environment but with patience, he will be an amazing addition to your home. He would do best in a calm home with other furry friends where he can blossom. Sage has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and vet checked. Story
Hi there! I’m Mario, and this is my sister Peach—we’re a bonded brother-sister duo with a flair for fun and a whole lotta love to give. We’re about 1½ years old now and have been waiting patiently in foster care for a whole year for our forever home. I’m the sporty one—I play fetch like a pro (yes, really!), and I’ll bring the ball right back to you so we can keep the game going. I’m also a top-tier snuggler, but I have one small request: please sit down so I can curl up with you properly. I might even cry a little just to make sure you do sit. It’s called strategy, folks. I love being near my people, and I’ll happily snooze with you for part of the night—just to make sure you’re warm and cozy. And I’m Peach! I’m the chatty one of the two, and I take my job as morning greeter very seriously. I’ll meow hello and make sure you know exactly where to put our breakfast plates—consistency is key, after all. I adore being part of the action and will flop down right in your path to demand flirty belly rolls and a few sweet pets. Both of us love to wrestle, chase toys (catnip balls, yes please!), and be around our people. We’re social butterflies with other cats and would do great in a home with respectful kiddos. We’re not sure how we feel about dogs, though... probably better off without them. We’re just waiting for the right home to fall in love with our sweet, silly selves—could it be yours? Mario & Peach are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for parasites, and health-checked by our veterinary partners. They both tested Negative for FIV/FELV. The adoption fee is $400 for the pair.

Story
Meet Millie (orange tabby, female) & Wade (brown tabby, male)! These two beautiful cats are about 11 months old now They were born outside and we were contacted when they were about 6 months old. We brought them in and their foster home has been working hard to socialize them. They have come a long way but are shy cats and will need to build trust. They so deserve a home of their own after living 6 months on the street. Here is what their foster home has to say: Millie is a shy, indoor cat. She loves Churu tubes and bird watching. She isn’t a fan of pats or snuggles unless she’s eating, but she’ll lay opposite you on the couch. Fastest way to her heart is food - she is always waiting for mealtime. Millie loves cat nip toys and bouncy balls and loves to have one quiet space to herself where she won’t be disturbed. Millie is a quiet cat, but her mealtime excitement does lead to a few songs. She loves to run around after her brother and will often lay with him wherever he is. Wade is a loveable, indoor cat. He loves Churu tubes and bird watching. He’s not fond of sitting on laps, but he loves to spend time in the same room as his humans. Fastest way to his heart is play. Wade loves his rainbow worm fishing rod and bouncy balls. After both breakfast and dinner, he gets the zoomies and loves to run, jump, and chase his sister Millie. Wade loves to sing for treats, to find his sister, or just to get a response from his human. They are bonded and need to be adopted together. They would do best in an experienced adult home with the patience to give them a chance to adjust and build trust. Each break through with shy cats is so rewarding. Wade & Millie have been neutered/spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/FELV. If you have room in your heart & your home for Wade & Millie, contact us here, email heartstohomesfelines@gmail.com, or fill out an application at www.heartstohomes.ca.

Story
Meet Leo! Leo was rescued from the streets by a kind lady who was feeding him. Leo is a very handsome male Bengal or a Bengal Cross about 1.5 years old. Leo needs an adopter or a foster-to-adopt home that is experienced with Bengals and has the time for a very intelligent, high energy cat. Leo likes to take long walks on a leash, loves to play with laser toys, cat dancers, springs and catnip toys. He is very smart and would love it if you taught him to play fetch. Leo loves to be in a cat tree to survey his domain when he is resting. He does not do well with other cats and is unproven with dogs. As he was used to wandering outdoors, Leo needs to be watched around the door and would not be good with children going in and out as a result. He is busy but gentle and is friendly. Leo is a bit of a character, very food motivated – loves Churros and treats; he is vocal when hungry and has an awesome meow! Leo would be a great companion for someone looking for an active pet. Here are some traits of Bengals to be aware of: • Highly active and full of energy. Like vertical spaces and to be up high; they like cat trees, high cupboards, etc. • Extremely intelligent, alert and attentive. They watch and learn from people on how to open doors and cabinets and other behaviors. • They want and need interaction with people. • Bengals love to fetch, play in water bowls and walk on leashes. • A true cat burglar, Bengals like to steal shiny household objects and hide them. Leo has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/FELV. If you have room in your heart & your home for Leo, contact us here, email heartstohomesfelines@gmail.com or fill out an application at heartstohomes.ca. The adoption fee is $250.
