Spayed or Neutered,
Story
This senior boy was found in a rural area. We believe he was dumped as he didn't know how to take care of himself or find food. He was very thin when he arrived to us and thouroughly enjoys his meals, and can be a bit 'crusty' if he's hungry. He enjoys a good brushing and his loud purr can be heard across the room. He doesn't seem to have great eyesight and sometimes struggles to find his food dish or bed. He would like a quiet, indoor home with older children who understand boundaries to live out his golden years. He has been dewormed and flea treated, is FIV/FelV negative, has had his vaccines and is neutered. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet. Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward. You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200. It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along. We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations. Please help us get the kitties to their forever homes faster by respecting these guidelines!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
This handsome guy was dropped off at a rural property with a friend. Luckily the homeowner found them and brought them to us for care. We estimate he's a little older, at 8 years old, but that doesn't slow him down. He loves to cuddle and be brushed and played nicely with the other kitty's in his foster home. He would like a furever home where he will have all the snuggles and snacks he can eat! We have discovered that he has night time zoomies, so a home with another cat to help keep him active during the day with a family who will play with him before bedtime would be best. He has been dewormed, flea treated, is FIV/FelV negative, is up to date on his vaccines and has been neutered. **He can be seen at the Woodstock Petsmart location on Norwich Ave.** PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! Declawed, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
This sweet, fluffy lady came to us after her owner tried to have her euthenized because of innapropriate voiding. The vet reached out to us and after meeting the 5 year old lovebug, came into our care. She actually had a urinary tract infection and was unhappy about the new dog that had come into her home. She has been treated for the infection, given a litter box that is easier for her to use and has not once missed using it. She is affectionate, loves rubbing against humans for cuddles, but is still a bit nervous of new people, will hide until she trusts and will take some time to warm up. She enjoys her meals, and must be fed a low calorie diet and encouraged to be active to help her get her beach body back. Her ideal indoor home would have children who are older and respectful of her, maybe a kitty friend, but definitely no dogs. She is up to date with her vaccines, flea treated and dewormed, spayed, front declawed and FIV/FElV negative. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). Spayed or Neutered,
Story
The dainty little momma is sweet and affectionate and ready to settle down with her own family. She was a young stray that showed up with her 4 young kittens. She is independent and enjoy cuddles, until she doesn't and will let you know she's had enough. She would be best with children over 10 years, as she can sometimes be overwhelmed with too much attention. She enjoys relaxing toys and isn't much of a toy chaser. We don't think she's ever been exposed to dogs, but would be best in a home any other animals. She has been flea treated and dewormed, FIV/FelV tested, up to date with her vaccines and has been spayed. She is currently at our Petsmart Adoption Center in Woodstock. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! Spayed or Neutered,
Story
This dapper gentleman is so laid back and chill, we can't believe he was abandoned at a rural property! He never stops purring and turns into a puddle for a belly rub! He's vocal and likes to tell you when his food dish is empty or he's feeling lonely. He enjoys a good play with a toy or another kitty friend. We don't know if he's been exposed to dogs, but would be fine with proper introductions to a friendly pup. He loves everyone and everything! He is up to date on his vaccines, has been flea treated and dewormed, is FIV/FeLV negative and has been neutered. He is currently at the Woodstock Petsmart Adoption Center if you'd like to visit him. Needs experienced adopter,
Story
This young guy and his brother Nixon were abandoned at a rural property. He is very skittish and took a long time to trust his foster momma, He is gradually becomong more comfortable with touch and seems to enjoy the contact if it's slow and easy, and is trying hard to overcome his fear of humans so will need a quiet, gentle home to blossom in. He really loves Nixon and often looks to him for guidance and securtiy, and would enjoy going to a home with him. He is playful and they can always be found wrestling! He is up to date with his vaccines, flea treated and dewormed, FIV/FeLV negative and has been neutered. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING!
