Story
Alisatair is one of 5 siblings born outside under the safety of a pool deck. He is playful and loves to be held and get belly rubs. He is very outgoing and loves to explore new enviroments and toys before snuggling down for a nap with his siblings. He is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on his vaccines and will come with a voucher for his neuter at 6 months, done in Woodstock at our vet. To facilitate the neuter surgery, applications from locations within half an hour distance from Woodstock will be considered. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet. Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward. You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200. It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along. We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations. Please help us get the kitties to their forever homes by respecting these guidelines!

Story
Taylor and her kitten, as well as her siblings all found safety at a rural property. The nice homeowner brought them to safety and then contacted us. Taylor was a protective momma, but now needs her own family to love. She took a bit of time to get comfortable with life indoors, and is really a sweet little lady. She likes to play with her siblings then settle down for a sleep beside them. She is polite and always allows the others to eat before her. Taylor likes the Churu treats and will tolerate lots of pets while eating them. She will need a patient and quiet forever home that allows her to take her time to trust. She is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on her vaccines and has been spayed. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). Story
🎨 Meet Marble – A Resilient Tortie Beauty 🎨 📍 Fostered in Kitchener | 🐾 Female | DOB: April 2022 | 💉 Spayed, Vaccinated, Microchipped | Special Needs About Marble: Marble’s journey has been one of courage and survival. Rescued pregnant from the country, her past injuries were only discovered later through x-rays: both of her back legs had been broken in several places and healed on their own. Against all odds, Marble not only walks—she thrives! While she can’t jump very high, she moves confidently, climbs stairs, and enjoys life’s little pleasures. Skills & Personality: 💕 Affectionate Companion – loves pets, cuddles, and even being held 🎶 Chatty Girl – will let you know when it’s time for attention (or moist food!) 🪶 Playful Spirit – enjoys chasing the laser, wand toys, and lounging in her tunnel 🛏️ Routine Lover – naps daily in her cozy cat bed, often followed by birdwatching from the window 🐾 Independent but Loving – a little shy at first, but blossoms once she trusts you Special Notes: 🩺 Marble has arthritis from her past injuries and receives a monthly Solensia injection ($70+/month depending on vet) to keep her comfortable and pain-free. 🐕 Not tested with dogs. 🐈 Would thrive best as an only pet so she can soak up all the love and attention. Ideal Home: Marble would do best with a single adopter or quiet couple who can provide her with stability, patience, and lots of affection. She’s ready for her second chance—a forever home where she can finally receive the love she always deserved. 💜 Adoption Details: Apply to adopt at rtcrescue.ca ✨ Give Marble the happily-ever-after she’s been waiting for – she’s ready to fill your home with love.
