Story
Five year old Sophie is well-groomed and tidy with a capital T, you can often find her meticulously combing through her fur while cuddled up in a soft bed... She will pause her ministrations long enough to meow excitedly when she sees you in greeting, but it’s not long before she’s back to ensuring every lock of gorgeous tabby coat is in it’s proper place! With how dedicated Sophie is to grooming on the regular, you may think that she has a lot of patience... She doesn’t! Sophie doesn’t like to wait for anything, and she’s not afraid to gallop behind you while singing loudly to let you know that she wants attention right now. Once her excited meowing gets your attention (good luck ignoring her), Sophie will happily soak up whatever love she can get from you! Massage her cheeks, pet her forehead, rub her shoulders, it’s all good for this round gal. She will often croak and grumble happily as you pet her, so don’t mistake her pleased sounds for growling or anything... She just likes to vocalize! Sophie is a very playful kitty and she has no problem making you a part of her games - Whether you waggle a toy wand or toss a jingly ball for her, or if she needs to invent her own game like chasing the pen that you’re trying to write with or tip-tapping her paws on your keyboard, she’s very sure that she’ll find something to entertain herself with. She’s intelligent and dedicated to fun! Sometimes Sophie can be a bit of a lazybones and will lay sprawled out on her soft bed, calling across the room for you to come and give her love... She’s found the perfect spot, and she’s certainly not going to get up and have to get comfortable again when you can use your human legs and come to her instead! Sophie is always happy to reward you with big purrs and headbutts for indulging her laziness, so you just can’t say no to her. Although Sophie isn’t fond of having her bum patted, she’s content to let you pet her anywhere else. Sophie is good with kids, but she would prefer a home with no other cats. Something to know about Sophie is that she's diabetic, but don't worry - We are so very pleased to announce that Sophie's glucose is stable, and she is in diabetic remission! That means that she doesn't need insulin thanks to her healthy lifestyle, she simply relies on her diabetic-friendly diet to stay in great shape and keep her sugars in check. Our volunteers would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have about Sophie's diabetes before you bring her home!

Story
If you’ve always wanted a social kitty to spend your days with, take a moment to get to know Kitty - This sweet little soul has come so far from when we first met her! When Kitty first arrived in our care, she was absolutely petrified of the world around her and wouldn’t let us close - Sadly, she was never given the opportunity to see how good life with us humans can be! Thanks to plenty of TLC and gentle reassurance, nowadays Kitty is an ear-rub expert, laser pointer master, and total best friend material! Although she is still shy when meeting new people, Kitty’s true personality is warm and sunny. From the moment she sees you coming her way, she’s stretching her delicate toes out in excitement and making her way on over to be the first one to soak up your pets and attention. Kitty is a big fan of lounging on cat trees as well as right in the middle of the floor, and she’d never say no to a cool cardboard scratching mat either. She’s also quite the purveyor of wiggly wands and jingly ball toys, so go ahead and spoil her! Kitty gets along well with other cats once she gets to know them, and children too.

Story
Meet Hazel! Hazel is looking for a home where she can have her own spot on the couch and to lounge in the window. This pretty kitty likes to be adored by her people from afar, and will let you know when it's time for attention and petting sessions. Hazel would do best in an adult home where they can understand her need for "me time". Hazel needs to be the only cat or dog in the home as she does not get along with furry friends. Story
Look out world, here comes 5 year old Margarita and her bodacious, brilliant personality! If you’ve always wanted a loud and proud kitty who isn’t afraid to love with her whole heart, look no further than magnificent Margarita. Margarita is the life of the party no matter where she goes, she takes the excitement with her and livens up every room that she trots in to! Whether she’s excitedly singing about what’s on her mind or happily calling you to come and spoil her more attention, the last thing we would ever call Margarita is ‘shy’. She’s a total people kitty! Margarita knows what she wants and when she wants it, and so don’t be surprised when she demands more pets, snacks, or attention. This queenly kitty also has no problem giving you a grumble when she’s trying to have some quiet time - It takes a lot of energy to be this awesome, and Margarita values her beauty sleep! Because of her small stature, Margarita LOVES to cuddle up into cup-style beds and cubbies, she’ll tuck every toe and inch of her tail in like a cinnamon roll when she gets ready for sleep. Margarita gets along well with kids as long as they're gentle. Something to know about me: Margarita is looking for a forever home with no other cats, she is a single kitty kinda gal!

Story
Big girl, you are beautiful! Four year old Eggnog is a gentle giant from toe to tip, and she absolutely glows with happiness when you spend extra time doting on her like the princess she is. There’s no doubt about it, Eggnog could melt butter with her warm and sunny attitude. Although she’s a little shy at first, once she gets her bearings Eggnog is all about making friends with everyone around her as much as possible! Eggnog loves to be loved, and she doesn’t even mind if you giggle a little at her generous belly pooch while you snuggle her - She will even allow you to indulgently massage her tummy, purring and kneading her praise as you do. Although we haven’t known Eggnog for very long, we suspect that this lovely lady is a lap cat in her spare time with how close she toddles up to our volunteers and puts her paws on our legs. In a home setting, she will surely be your best couch potato! Eggnog gets along with other cats, although she can be a bit dominant with more shy kitties. She also grew up alongside a young child with no issues.

Story
Laid back and sweet nine year old Kat is your golden ticket if you’ve always wanted a gentle, affectionate, and mild-mannered kitty to call your best friend! Kat is a bit of a lazy daisy who loves to spend her days lounging in her beds, basking in the sun, and generally just being as cozy as possible. Don’t let her heavy eyebrows and serious face fool you, Kat has a purr that could move mountains, and she’s always incredibly happy to see her human friends coming her way! Pet her gorgeous tabby stripes from the top of her head all the way down her back, and she’ll melt into a puddle. Kat’s calm attitude makes her a perfect work companion, she loves to sit close to your side and keep you company while you type on the computer, and she is more than ready to be your loyal couch potato too. Kat is okay being around the other cats in our care, she doesn’t seek them out for play time but she also doesn’t get upset when they get near her. She is great with gentle children.
